You focus too much on the slavery thing when it has nothing to do with that at all. The song and the video puts respect on every culture and that's why they celebrate together. The lyrics, the video and even the bands name should be hint enough

I'm British but American slavery in 1870? ( not that things were bright and rosy for black people in the South back then! ). BTW, this video was filmed by the River Thames ( the one that runs through London, UK)

No No No you have a bit of tunnel vision going here this was and is a classic bit of pop culture it's not about slavery it's not black vs white. Sorry but your reaction is in a lot of ways racist.
