We ride on the BR 23 023 of the Stoom Stichting Nederland, at a maximum speed of 100 kph.. This locomotive is pulling the Nostalgie Express today and it runs from Rotterdam via Gouda, Utrecht, 's-Hertogenbosch and Nijmegen to Arnhem. Finally the train continues to Beekbergen to fetch water and to turn the locomotive. Cabview Heritage is fully participating and this ride will be posted in stages over the coming year. This is part 1 of the ride: We depart from Rotterdam Central and drive to Utrecht Central. We rijden op de BR 23 023 van de Stoom Stichting Nederland met een maximum snelheid van 100 kpu. Deze loc trekt vandaag de Nostalgie Express en deze rijdt van Rotterdam via Gouda, Utrecht, 's-Hertogenbosch en Nijmegen naar Arnhem. Uiteindelijk rijdt de trein door naar Beekbergen om water te halen en om de loc te keren. Cabview Heritage rijdt helemaal mee en deze rit zal het komende jaar in etappes gepubliceerd worden. Dit is deel 1 van de rit: We vertrekken vanaf Rotterdam Centraal en rijden naar Utrecht Centraal. ¿¡Something different!? ¡Oh, goodie! I like something different. First I thought it meant we were gonna start with some not-too-famous Rotterdam cheese, then stop for the famous Gouda cheese, and finish off at Utrecht with no more cheese, but maybe a glass of Utrecht or generic white wine to wash everything down. BUT NO, wrong again here in Puebla, México (this 5 a.m. first showing here of the Cabview Holland Dutch Railways video always catches me somewhat still asleep and drowsy).. even with my coffee and powdered donuts. BUT YES, EVEN BETTER, we have a super camera angle and the fine trainspotters with their video snippet or vignette flourishes. Gracias por tu video, Señor Cabview... it's too early for wine and cheese here anyway, don't you think? RT sends, envia, Colonia Centro Histórico, Puebla, México... I need to stretch and do some jumping jacks first... it's early.

Hey, I think you're on to something ... like a Wine Train, except in the Netherlands, it'd be the Great Cheese Train, with some pretty darn good beverages to go along for the ride!

Dat was heel mooi en de beste locatie voor een camera. Aangezien dat de IC in Rotterdam om 25 of 55 binnen kwam, wist ik ongeveer de vertrekminuut. De stoptrein naar Uitgeest moest even wachten. Met 10 minuten voorsprong op de IC terug naar Utrecht wist ik dat de stoomtrein ergens ingehaald moest worden. Uiteindelijk gebeurde dat om 42:26!

😅nou jaaa,een fazant met turbo aandrijfing rechts op 29:36. super hoor om dat te zien,heeft vast iets met Zoef de haas te maken,lol.mooi hé.😂

What a fantastic video. can't wait for the rest of this series but the wait will be worth it. truly fantastic filming from the days of a bygone age that always thrill people when you see these giants of the steam era riding on the modern mainline of railways.
