Hey Bro,
I know to ride bike but would categorise myself as a beginner. Have a great experience with scooters (city, traffic, highway, pillion) and I believe I ride maturely.
Will Him 450 be a good transition?
Given I can’t afford to have multiple two wheelers at once, will HIM 450 do it all?
65-70% city commuting and 30-35% Highway touring
PS
1) I’m 24, 5’8 and weigh 65KGs
2) I’m considering Scrambler 400x but I’m not sure if it’s height would be too much (835mm)
3) for reference I can flat foot on Highness’ 800 mm height
Hey brother,
I would not recommend Himalayan 450 as your first bike, for the description you mentioned. Himalayan is a complete touring machine in city it heats a lot, it's heavy too.
If u have 50-50% touring and city usage u can still consider. It's also and off road machine if u want to do some trail riding over the weekend.
In my opinion if u can wait till year end guerrilla 450 launch which is a scram version on Himalayan 450, would be a good alternative with low seat height for you
What's with speedo gets blacked out in between?? Is it the mediocre camera setup or what??not hating just asking
I set the go pro frequency to 50hz .. hearing other youtubers, to avoid flickering. However this black out is happening. Im yet to figure out how to avoid this
You didn't comment on how it felt at around 100 kmph... I noticed a lot of vibrations at those speeds.. did you notice them too?
Beyond 120 kmph yes definitely there is vibrations. And I dont feel much safe to ride beyond that speed! ..for Indian road conditions 120 max is a good speed and it does the job!

Second batch here should take atleast a year to come !! What I believe this bike is the best version of royal Enfield at the launch!!
