- The Raptor gets some big changes & upgrades for 2022 from Ford. This truck is meant to go up against the Ram TRX as its main competition. On the outside you will find all of the F-150 changes, plus bead-lock wheels, unique grill, and new exhaust. On the inside you will be greeted to a leather/Alcantara seats, 12in infotainment system, and massive digital gauge display. Under the hood is a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 that pumps out 450HP & is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Is the NEW 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor a performance truck WORTH the PRICE?

Seems like Ford F150 is the most versatile truck of all time..their lineup is best from Raptor R to roush to Saleen to maybe Hennessy...just like MB..

Love the interior of the new ones. I have a 2018 and while the interior is lacking, the suspension and motor make up for it. Love the new exhaust I wish mine sounded like that. And yes mine is a daily driver and I love it!

I’ve got to say that I do like this Raptor. The interior is nice that steering wheel is like a Euro car looking great except the horn button. Great review and you can easily take this off road and Baja. Always love that “On throttle”.

$80k for this seems generally reasonable compared to every other $80k pickup truck. The problem is the typical $10-25k markups, good luck finding one at MSRP…
I read this before he said the price. I thought 80k was good! but yeah the markup from dealers.. nah.
This particular one at Walker Ford is marked up by $20,000, to $102,825

An amazing Baja truck that makes for an excellent but large daily driver. Personally i find that 450 horsepower is enough for daily use or ripping through the desert in comfort. I'm sure the R is going to be amazing, but your tester Raptor is a winner. It shows that Ford knows how to build an amazing specialty Pickup. Great review on a fantastic F150 Raptor

It is not the horsepower, but the torque, and torque curve matters most. That’s what great about the turbocharged motors.

Love Raptors since they came out. I don't mind if it has a v6, the original v8 raptor was also under 500 hp. I didn't know about that supercharged version so I'm excited about it.

The exhaust sounds is actually pretty sweet. It’s got that rally car sound. Considering it’s a Baja truck, it fits well.

This was an Awesome Raptor! The 3.5L Ecoboost on the truck doesn't sound that bad at all, still sounds pretty impressive. I am also Hyped with the Raptor R! Can't wait for that truck and are you Hyped for the Raptor R? It will be better then ever! 😁

If you lived near the desert, this would be an awesome supertruck to have. Not sure anyone in Florida would ever need one of these. Nice to see Ford building enthusiast products, instead of boring stuff. This plus the Bronco and Maverick are smash hits.

Rode in my brother in laws raptor in canyons in southern Arizona. This thing is insane at high speeds in the dirt and rocks.

The Ecoboost is superior
The 100 pounds is a problem, the added weight makes the back buck in the hoops clearly showed in the Raptor R video, this is not good, the TRX is also not as good in the hoops making the Ecoboost a more safe bet for baja application.

The Eco boost would be the choice for those who don’t do much off-road driving. You’ll get better MPG’s than a V8. Ram boys will go TRX and hard core Ford boys will wait for the R. Thanks Joe and Steven. Great job guys! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸

The F series is the only American 🇺🇸 vehicle I’d trust ( not including the lightning)…although the TRX has 252 more HP if it’s my money I’m going Raptor… it’s got more than enough HP if you want more just get the R and it looks just as bad ass as the TRX 😎
While you're out there, you can queue up "Walk The Dinosaur" by Was Not Was. 😊 That is quite a truck, probably a TFL favorite, I'm sure Andre over there likes it.
The Tremor is probably enough for most. It's far less money, higher payload and towing capacity. It won't perform as well off road, but most never go off road anyway.

I've watched a lot of Ford raptor videos has anyone else noticed that Ford changed the blue interior package?? So when the Gen 3 Raptor debuted the blue recaro was all blue with no black and embossed Raptor logo in the seats with an all blue center console top... And now it's blue and black with embroidered raptor logo and black center console top. Or am I going crazy??
Love the upgraded Raptor..better exhaust..less v6 to catch up with the TRX but with this Raptor and the Raptor R on its way..they are double up on the TRX far as versatility v6 or v8..honestly Ford F150 is the most popular truck 45 yrs straight 4 a reason..thanks Steve and Joe for this exciting segment 😀 🦖🇺🇸...

Only difference I've caught so far between '21 and '22 is that they got rid of auto start stop. Now you have a 85k truck with blank switches!

very impressive on throttle for a 6 turbo and 6,000 lbs!! that wobbly antenna on the hood is a bit annoying & outdated though. fold out that center console and roll up some burritos!

Crazy thing is there asking $20,000 extra premium in California Santa Margarita ford they got a bit of them I would never pay extra I don’t care how nice they are

The TRX, Will bit it at, 0 to 60. But that’s it. I’ll bet that Raptor, will smoke the the TRX off roading, specially at the Baja

I bought the regular Raptor with 37, there is no need to put that much gas for that much HP, regular Raptor is capable enough to do anything basically.
I LOVE the Ford Raptor. I would love to own one. Can you buy it with an F250 Raptor??

Some don’t need want or like 4 doors. The Raptor absolutely looks the best in the SCAB configuration. There’s one in the foreground of this jump video and it looks awesome. The SCAB just feels right when jumping. Jump one side by side with this Crew cab and take us along for the ride you’ll see the difference.. The SCAB is just more FUN! A Raptor is purpose built to be a FUN truck, sorry 4 doors don’t cut it for me… Just isn’t as Fun… Too bad Ford is doing away with it, “this year”. We have to wait and see if they offer it for the Raptor R or 23 & later models. I’m not getting a 4 door. The SCAB has plenty of rear seat room and is very comfortable.The SCAB has better road feed back, handling, maneuvering and is more FUN to drive. It is easier to tame while on street and parking. If you want, 4 doors has always been available. Bye SCABS you will be missed.

Not a fan of f150 but at least they can have a nice trailer hitch and still use the tailgate step unlike my gmc. Plus they still have the ac power outlet while gm took it out smh.
