What i find funny is, in Wicked we learn there are trains and other means of mass transportation in Oz, but Glinda sends Dorothy to Emerald City on foot lol

I think the cannon explanation is that the train doesn’t connect to every location in Oz, specifically munchkin land where Dorthy starts her journey.

That film is not canon to Wicked whatsoever.
Wicked existed before that terrible movie.
It’s not terrible, I know it’s not canon but it I knew if it before Wicked
