This may be my single best production we have done on this channel. It took about 4 months and the manpower of a lot of people. It was really a labor of love and I hope you enjoy it!
Did you know that when the Witch left in the beginning in that explosion the actress actually got caught in the explosion and was rushed to the hospital?
This was so cool!! The wizard of oz is one of my favorite movies and I never thought a movie form 1939 would ever appear on a Lego channel, well done!!
8:44- “What were these witches doing to these people? My response: They were treating them with great cruelty for years. Dorothy had melted her, so now, they’re free from her tyranny. They’re happy that the witch is dead.
@RepublicStud At 4:50, there is a body chilling in the trees. That is a reference to the myth of somebody deciding too… make themselves swing on a tree (again though, it is a myth)
This is EPIC, I will say though for me I don't like the greenscreen background affect for some scenes cause it's dizzying for me, but that's probably just a me thing. Overall this was awesome, the builds were great and this effect at the begin was sick 0:02, same with 6:10
For the snow part they used stuff used in old houses that are toxic, you might die if it touches you or you breathe it in. And the actor for the scarecrow got lines from the make up
They had two actors for him, the original one had to go to the hospital because the paint was so bad, and then he was replaced by the one in the movie, he died in 1979, and the move was made in 1939 so he lived a long life.
Hi Logan. Thanks for building the Wizard of Oz out of Lego. I love the Wizards of Oz. I watched the Wizard of Oz school play in 2018 at my high school when it was the year 5 orientation day.
If you're watching on your phone, click the back of your phone as many times as you can to see how many seconds you can go back. I went back 340 seconds but make sure you just started the video. It gets pretty interesting. I went back 340 seconds. Nobody can beat my record

Great video man I can tell you put a lot of time into this!
This was on amazing and phenomenal video. It was so good. Keep up the work.
I don’t have any things to say but I want to comment
Dorothy actually had a pet squirrel....🐿️ Dorothy took the red pill.
Honestly my second favorite rendition of this movie, _very_ closely behind the Phineas and Ferb one (no one can top that)
Disagree I love this
BTW love your video
@@TheB3 def tops the muppet one 😭
You love muppets
@@RepublicStuds oh no is that a real thing? 🫣

Actually, not only that but so much bad stuff happened to all the actors
Yes I knew that it almost gave me nightmares

I’m sure the Lego wicked sets would’ve been really useful for the good witch.

They said Oweo
Love palpatine as the creepy dude
You gotta make wicked next
@RepublicStud At 4:50, there is a body chilling in the trees. That is a reference to the myth of somebody deciding too… make themselves swing on a tree (again though, it is a myth)
Yes
YIPPIE
OOOOO I LOVE THAT THEY DID A SURVIVOR PREMIERE TRAILER STYLE
love the wizard of oz super Nintendo video game soundtrack in the background, that's what i call a deep cut
As someone who has never watched Wizard of Oz, this was confusingly awesome
This is EPIC, I will say though for me I don't like the greenscreen background affect for some scenes cause it's dizzying for me, but that's probably just a me thing. Overall this was awesome, the builds were great and this effect at the begin was sick 0:02, same with 6:10
This is EXCELLENT! Well done, sir!
I would LOVE to see “Wicked” next!
who else had some serious Lego dimensions nostalgia? 😅
This is perfect!! I'm in a theater production of the Wizard of Oz right now!!!
Ma!!!! I'm famous!!!!
I like that Wreck it Ralph reference in the wizard of oz. 😊
It kind of feels weird for a 1930s movie, but I like Wreck-It Ralph the first one
As a big Wizard of Oz fan, I love this!
This video makes me wants to see a Lego wizard of oz movie like in style of the lego movie
I wish they'd make actual sets, I love your builds a lot
You did a great job. I love this video. I especially love that you made the entire movie into the video. Fantastic, Amazing
Me seeing a *CURSED VIDEO:* 6:24
Next make a Wicked one! Only if you want to though!
One of the best productions I've ever seen! The amount of depth and effort is so clear how much you've put it. It's amazing!
Thank you so much!!!
I love the wizard of Oz
The character in the pink dress reminds me of Princess Peach.
Glinda?
Yes, the Good Witch of the North. In the original book, before the movie, there was also a Good Witch of the South.
the cgi in this video is honestly better than most hollywood movies these days lol 😂
Ty
I don't think there is any cgi
For the snow part they used stuff used in old houses that are toxic, you might die if it touches you or you breathe it in.
And the actor for the scarecrow got lines from the make up
The Wizard of Oz is my all time favorite movie, so I seriously love this video!
3:09-“Okay, but where does it go?
My response: To the Emerald City, duh 🙄. Haven’t you seen the movie?
I can tell this is very amazing
The wizard of oz is so classic I love it 😍
The actor who played the Tin Man. The silver makeup that he had on was toxic, and he had cancer and died later on.
They had two actors for him, the original one had to go to the hospital because the paint was so bad, and then he was replaced by the one in the movie, he died in 1979, and the move was made in 1939 so he lived a long life.
Great job bro, definitely a top tier video
You deserve more likes! Also you should do Alice in wonderland
This is the greatest Lego creation I’ve ever seen 😊
You are so cool keep up the good work 😃
You should submit The emerald city into LEGO ideas like the B3 did with the robot factory
