Omo, i adore this song! I mean it, it is perfect! It also made me realise how much i underestimated Donghyun he acts so well in this video and i think he has bumped himself up on my bias list! Minwoo is also so grown up now... probably more than the twins. He is very masculine now, very different from his cutie image a few years ago. (I just hope he doesn't turn into one of those maknaes who tries TOO hard to get rid of the cute image) I am falling in love with Hyunseong now, he is so gorgeous and handsome. I always thought he was but he is so much more now - honestly he is the only one i can imagine with real tattoos now (except maybe Minwoo cuz he suits them so well) I'm only worried about Youngmin a little though: He seems to be getting a bit more camera awkward and he doesn't seem to have his charismatic self-esteem anymore. He was still wonderful but i am a little concerned. Kwangmin is owning it now, i can remember when he used to be the shyer one of the twins and now he just has such presence it is incredible. And Jeongmin is amazing as always, he has a certain charm about him that i love but cannot describe, he is almost like the bridge between very masculine handsome like Hyunseong and pretty boy like the maknae line. He has a lovely voice. But overall i loved this concept of mixing in an old childhood fairytale and a very modern masculine concept. I love it especially because only recently i played Wendy in the play of Peter Pan in my drama group so i love it that that was the theme they went with... it is a very clever one at that! Boyfriend Hwaiting!!! ^_^
Unfortunately they are only famous in Japan and recently they released some new stuff there, if you haven't checked out their new single album yet, do it, you won't regret. Main song is called "Jackpot" ^^

I used to listen to Boyfriend but I stopped for a while, but this song is really amazing!! Love it! but i don't get.... 1. The story doesn't make sense... everybody is suddenly so interested in reading a book 1:26 .... she was reading peter pan!! then they stab it with a knife!!! 2. What was the bomb all about?? Donghyun brings it in 1:34 .... but the green guy gets it at the end?? What?? 3. Lol the dynamite wasn't even lighted!! and the dynamite was large enough to blow up the whole building!! but good job for the image change:) Really love the song!!
Yeah I was pretty confused with the story too! From what I was able to pick up, the green guy is actually Peter Pan and then blah blah Donghyun turns into Captain Hook at the end :> Oh and in the beginning if you read the English text of the book it says Peter Pan kills the children that grow up, so Peter Pan is the antagonist in this music video. And I'm pretty sure the girl is Wendy :3 Hope I helped a little bit!
Samii Bear yeap what you said was pretty much it. there was also a flashback where wendy and boyfriend were friends and peter pan took wendy away... not wanting her to grow up. so donghyun makes peter pan his sworn enemy, stabbing his poster as an indication of it lol. if you click "cc" and read the lyrics it's about "why are you in love with him", "he's obsessive" etc.. so yeah... i think the purpose of the bomb is to kill peter pan and they obviously didn't expect wendy to be there as well. she was a bait to lure boyfriend in. in the end wendy was killed so like "HAH, in yo face boyfriend" yeah thats all i got lolol sorry for the rant

I really are happy about this comeback change of them. Our boys looking really good here. The concept, to their clothes. EVERYTHING seems just. Right. This concept seems alot more stronger and ofc more intense then their other songs they have. The twins really seems very matured here. more then what they did in Janus and Iyah. Our Hyunseong seems to been really worked out, even he did have some before this concept comeback. This shows really how much he worked himself to get there. For the rest. I really like our rapper minwoo have really matured himself into his own rapping. The way it goes, so strong. Alot more stronger and really get that intensive feeling while rapping. The rest as well did a good job. Like Jeongmin did really good on his vocal at 2:38 His voice go so smooth yet, it gives us the feeling of chills. A good one at least. Can`t wait for their comeback stage on this song! :D We know it will be awsome of course! :3 They have my fulles support as their bestfriend! :"D

Boyfriend is back! Finally! The first thing I have to said is that since the moment I saw the teaser I was expecting so much...and the MV is so much better than what I expected. Since like the guys have left their cute concept, im happy they try new things. The first thing I thought was: "They look and sound better with their cute concept" But after listening to the song two times I found myself singing mentally the chorus. The choreography is amazing, it is pretty cool and they are good dancers, the plot is original, I've never seen a mv or story about Peter Pan (since I love Peter Pan so much I love this mv so much kk), the CG..well maybe the explosive one is too much, but it's quite good. And they look SO GOOD with those clothes, I really like that style, those clothes are definitely my style and suit them very well. They look like more comfortable with the camera, aren't they? It's cute that the twins are wearing like couple tshirts (they are, right?). And Donghyun....you have broken me again...you fucking perfect guy!!! Okay.. a lot of things going through my head as I watched this: 1. I hope those tattoos aren't real lol 2. What is with the shorts on top of pants trend?? Why is that a thing.... 3. The dance routine is hella awesome and quite different from what I've seen in the past!! 4. The song.. I think it's one of those songs I gotta warm up to :/ compared to their other song I instantly fell in love with immediately at least :) I'm sure I'll love this song but, right now, not a huge fan :/ 5. All of them look a lot more comfortable on camera than before 6. I guess it's a good thing this is my first mv of BOYFRIEND because the comment made by Nur Yna basically confirmed what I had already thought; just another cutesy boy band. This level of maturity does suit them much better. I think maybe this mv is the start of a new image for them because of the storyline; Peterpan, boy falls in love and only grows up and deals with life after he loses his love and his hand to evolve into a more intense, passionate and aggressive man i.e. Peterpan to Captain Hook. Love doesn't last forever and every little boy has to be a man some day. I sincerely hope the meaning is not lost on their fans.

Love the change in concept:). They're on fire 🔥🔥😏. They're all really attractive as hell in this bad boy concept. Donghyun's voice is sexaayy as hell. And don't even get me started on that melody in the chorus
WOW!! Best spin-off version to a well loved children's story with a KPop twist. :) Both song and MV are good! I really got LSS with it. And the fact that BoyFriend is using this type of concept, it suits them well. The mix of rap and vocals to the beat of the song is one of the strong points. I mean all of them were given enough lines to showcase their individual voices. As for flaws, I don't find any. Hope this song will make it to higher ranks in music shows soon. :)

I've seen avatar. But the concepts are different. I like this more than Avatar. First, the song is very catchy compare to Avatar. Its slightly slow. But this is more intense than Avatar.

Yeah I was pretty confused with the story too! From what I was able to pick up, the green guy is actually Peter Pan and then blah blah Donghyun turns into Captain Hook at the end :> Oh and in the beginning if you read the English text of the book it says Peter Pan kills the children that grow up, so Peter Pan is the antagonist in this music video. And I'm pretty sure the girl is Wendy :3 Hope I helped a little bit!
Samii Bear yeap what you said was pretty much it. there was also a flashback where wendy and boyfriend were friends and peter pan took wendy away... not wanting her to grow up. so donghyun makes peter pan his sworn enemy, stabbing his poster as an indication of it lol. if you click "cc" and read the lyrics it's about "why are you in love with him", "he's obsessive" etc.. so yeah... i think the purpose of the bomb is to kill peter pan and they obviously didn't expect wendy to be there as well. she was a bait to lure boyfriend in. in the end wendy was killed so like "HAH, in yo face boyfriend"

Boyfriend are the lost kids, they dont like peter pan anymore cause he is crazy so they escape to the earth and grow up, but wendy dont want cause she was in love with peter pan, boyfriend read in the book that peter pan is going to kill them, youngmin and kwangmin show to the other members the bomb that they made, they ask wendy to escape, she didnt say no (she sees that peter pan is crazy ), but peter pan caught wendy and put the bomb on her chest and the bomb explote

This concept seems alot more stronger and ofc more intense then their other songs they have.
The twins really seems very matured here. more then what they did in Janus and Iyah. Our Hyunseong seems to been really worked out, even he did have some before this concept comeback. This shows really how much he worked himself to get there.
For the rest. I really like our rapper minwoo have really matured himself into his own rapping. The way it goes, so strong. Alot more stronger and really get that intensive feeling while rapping.
The rest as well did a good job. Like Jeongmin did really good on his vocal at 2:38 His voice go so smooth yet, it gives us the feeling of chills. A good one at least.

Boyfriend is back! Finally! The first thing I have to said is that since the moment I saw the teaser I was expecting so much...and the MV is so much better than what I expected. Since like the guys have left their cute concept, im happy they try new things. The first thing I thought was: "They look and sound better with their cute concept" But after listening to the song two times I found myself singing mentally the chorus. The choreography is amazing, it is pretty cool and they are good dancers, the plot is original, I've never seen a mv or story about Peter Pan (since I love Peter Pan so much I love this mv so much kk), the CG..well maybe the explosive one is too much, but it's quite good. And they look SO GOOD with those clothes, I really like that style, those clothes are definitely my style and suit them very well.
They look like more comfortable with the camera, aren't they? It's cute that the twins are wearing like couple tshirts (they are, right?).
And Donghyun....you have broken me again...you fucking perfect guy!!!

2. What is with the shorts on top of pants trend?? Why is that a thing....
3. The dance routine is hella awesome and quite different from what I've seen in the past!!
4. The song.. I think it's one of those songs I gotta warm up to :/ compared to their other song I instantly fell in love with immediately at least :) I'm sure I'll love this song but, right now, not a huge fan :/

I guess it's a good thing this is my first mv of BOYFRIEND because the comment made by Nur Yna basically confirmed what I had already thought; just another cutesy boy band. This level of maturity does suit them much better. I think maybe this mv is the start of a new image for them because of the storyline; Peterpan, boy falls in love and only grows up and deals with life after he loses his love and his hand to evolve into a more intense, passionate and aggressive man i.e. Peterpan to Captain Hook.
Love doesn't last forever and every little boy has to be a man some day.
I sincerely hope the meaning is not lost on their fans.

Both song and MV are good! I really got LSS with it. And the fact that BoyFriend is using this type of concept, it suits them well. The mix of rap and vocals to the beat of the song is one of the strong points. I mean all of them were given enough lines to showcase their individual voices. As for flaws, I don't find any.
Hope this song will make it to higher ranks in music shows soon. :)

I've seen avatar. But the concepts are different. I like this more than Avatar. First, the song is very catchy compare to Avatar. Its slightly slow. But this is more intense than Avatar.
