the industry has failed them, the fact that people don't even know about VIXX, especially the younger generations of k-pop fans truly disappoints me. VIXX were popular and loved for their catchy songs and amazing concepts, they started this entire aesthetic in the k-pop industry and have done it so well. I would love for them to come back, but I feel like it's wishful thinking as of now because three members officially left the group a while ago. unless the company wants to push the idea and obviously the rest of the members, I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon ;-; I will always love VIXX and what they have done for us

Vixx has and always will be my #1 all time favorite K-pop Band and the only one I love and they're one of my top favorite Boy Bands of all time in general. They are equal to Backstreet Boys, Five, and N'sync. They are insane legends and I'll forever love and miss them terribly! Long live the greatest K-Pop Boy Band of all time! There will never be another like them ever again!

If the rest of VIXX make a comeback then it would have to be a time N isn't so busy with acting projects so he can be involved with the comeback. Ravi pretty much has his own company so I think he can make his own schedule. They can still have a contract with VIXX and have a contract with s different company. It definitely makes it harder though. I hope all 5 VIXX can comeback soon and they have that chance since nobody is in the military right now and before Ravi and Hyuk have to go. I hope Ravi and N can make time in their schedule to have a comeback with VIXX

Vixx is so uncredited for so many things about kpop today. Without Vixx, a lot of the style trends in kpop wouldn't exist today or be popular (example: the choker, harness, bdsm-wear type outfits). Along with their sound and music video production, they were ahead of their time. They were pioneers in the dark concept and sexy concept as well and helped popularize fashion with bdsm-like accessories.
One addition to this is that the 'bdsm' style was done already the year before by History's track "Psycho" but the overall concept was different. "Chained Up" is style and concept together, whereas "Psycho" is style with the concept of rubber-room crazy.
The dark concept had been approached already with chokers and the like by BIGBANG with Monster and Jaejoong with Mine, but VIXX undoubtedly made it a thing of their own and as a group they have had a bigger impact than people care to admit. I mean, there would be no Monsta X, Ateez, Stray Kids and many others, without VIXX concepts.
Imagine new people here thinking that's a hella matured group and imagining a mature image Of Vixx and then ending up on Hyuk screeching his lungs out , 6 of them fighting over a chair like their life depends on it or N accidentally reaviling his insole and pterodactyl ken.

I always heard jokes about VIXX being the "kinky" group, but I never realised how serious fans were when they said this until I saw them wearing collars while singing "I'm a slave". I can now conclude, after watching this on repeat for half an hour, I'm a changed woman. Plis welcome me to the fandom. Do not chain me up I'm not about that lyfe.
But sometime I feel pressured that how some people trash talk about this boys but we have to keep cool. I feel like I should snap at them but at the same time I don't want to strain our fandoms reputation. I ignore them but it hurts.

To new Starlights here. VIXX big fanbase is in Korea, and I think they prefer streaming in digital Korean music platform and watching MV in Naver. I also remind you that Starlights are MOSTLY adult and mature person now. We have family, works, college and others to care about. We support VIXX in many ways, for example: buy their album as one of real support, send love to their individual works, and also become one of the best, kind and peace fandom that VIXX will be proud. To those that are disappointed: Did it ever occurred to you that VIXX were preparing this comeback while some of them had individual schedules to deal with? Also that Hakyeon oppa decided as much as he didn't want to but stop his radio so he can focus on this comeback on top of his still rather busy schedule. You may never know that perhaps they are experimenting or that they feel pressure to not disappoint us. So For VIXX to pull this off with the knowledge of how busy the members are is impressive. VIXX always work hard for us Starlights/fans. So think about all of that. And try and be in their position. Alright I covered basic knowledge.

+Hongbin TaeTae I think the fans were just voicing out their preferences or feedback? Well, we all know that not every song from an artist will appeal to everyone. Some fans prefer this type of songs while others prefer other types. I personally wasn't so into Love equation because I would expect something after their concept like voodoo doll, jekyll and hyde, eternity, error.. then suddenly a diff twist with love equation, which was not really the type that will get me into it. However, that doesn't mean I won't support the song or VIXX. I still vote for them during music shows.. just that the song.. the style didn't appeal to me as much as their past songs/ concept. Likewise, maybe the fans were all very very excited with this comeback and perhaps various ideas or expectations came into their mind.. but when things turned out to be not what they thought it will be, or this song so happen to be not the type they like, they are disappointed.. but that doesn't mean they won't support them. Idols will try out diff types of music and styles, so to some fans, it could be a hit or miss for that particular song.

I don't care that VIXX isn't the most popular group with the most popular songs. I don't care that even when I show my friends VIXX they just sleep on them and go listen to the more popular groups. VIXX is different, it makes them stand out. No group sounds like them. Even when others don't see it. Starlights know how special VIXX is. They are so special. All it does is make me hold on to my boys tighter because they have a fan for life here. Nobody has been able to convince me that there is a better group then VIXX. And I'm never gonna let them go 😢

People not knowing about VIXX is a crime. Even if was never one to particularly actively stan and am more of a 4th gen stan, you can never EVER forget the impact that VIXX had and the absolutely banger discography. So criminally underrated it's literally INSANE. Like Chained Up, Fantasy, and Voodoo Doll are all some of my most streamed songs.
Norgen Tapel srry to say but that blazer without undershirt trend has been around for a looooonnnggg while, definitely not a Vixx original. Dbsk, Rain, Suju, GDragon, etc; actually there's probably some OG 90's k-pop boy group that's done it lolol. As fashion trends typically are, most of them are recycled from previous concepts done by others and etc:p but I'll say their concept is definitely... different (kinky hahhahaha)

Vixx is so uncredited for so many things about kpop today. Without Vixx, a lot of the style trends in kpop wouldn't exist today or be popular (example: the choker, harness, bdsm-wear type outfits). Along with their sound and music video production, they were ahead of their time. They were pioneers in the dark concept and sexy concept as well and helped popularize fashion with bdsm-like accessories.
This is one of the few 3rd gen boy group songs that actually ages well, it still sounds fresh and modern even in 2022
One addition to this is that the 'bdsm' style was done already the year before by History's track "Psycho" but the overall concept was different. "Chained Up" is style and concept together, whereas "Psycho" is style with the concept of rubber-room crazy.
The dark concept had been approached already with chokers and the like by BIGBANG with Monster and Jaejoong with Mine, but VIXX undoubtedly made it a thing of their own and as a group they have had a bigger impact than people care to admit. I mean, there would be no Monsta X, Ateez, Stray Kids and many others, without VIXX concepts.

Did it ever occurred to you that VIXX were preparing this comeback while some of them had individual schedules to deal with?
Also that Hakyeon oppa decided as much as he didn't want to but stop his radio so he can focus on this comeback on top of his still rather busy schedule.
You may never know that perhaps they are experimenting or that they feel pressure to not disappoint us.
So For VIXX to pull this off with the knowledge of how busy the members are is impressive.

+Hongbin TaeTae I think the fans were just voicing out their preferences or feedback? Well, we all know that not every song from an artist will appeal to everyone. Some fans prefer this type of songs while others prefer other types. I personally wasn't so into Love equation because I would expect something after their concept like voodoo doll, jekyll and hyde, eternity, error.. then suddenly a diff twist with love equation, which was not really the type that will get me into it. However, that doesn't mean I won't support the song or VIXX. I still vote for them during music shows.. just that the song.. the style didn't appeal to me as much as their past songs/ concept. Likewise, maybe the fans were all very very excited with this comeback and perhaps various ideas or expectations came into their mind.. but when things turned out to be not what they thought it will be, or this song so happen to be not the type they like, they are disappointed.. but that doesn't mean they won't support them. Idols will try out diff types of music and styles, so to some fans, it could be a hit or miss for that particular song.

I feel like because they have that kind of image, that yes, they're having trouble experimenting with other sounds and themes. As well as the use of the sexy concept hahah. But yeah. I don't care that VIXX isn't the most popular group with the most popular songs. I don't care that even when I show my friends VIXX they just sleep on them and go listen to the more popular groups. VIXX is different, it makes them stand out. No group sounds like them. Even when others don't see it. Starlights know how special VIXX is. They are so special.
