Thanks for watching, Steve! We did the AHT a couple years ago (absolutely insane 1st day with flash floods and tornadoes). Hoping to do the Tecumseh before too long. Love southern IN backpacking! Thanks again!
Yes! Im looking forward to these videos! Wait... you recently did a marathon, then you turned around and thru-hiked the Knobstone and in 90s degree weather!!?? You, sir, are a SAVAGE!!! All in all i hope it was an enjoyable experience, aside of the minor setbacks. But thats okay. Its all what makes and adventures just that. Getting out into the unknown and living! This makes me wanna tackle another thru-hike!
Hey Glenn! Thanks for watching! So, yeah, I ran an ultramarathon, a 50 miler on the NCT a few days before... Bad decision! lol! But you are RIGHT! I'll always remember it because of the screw ups! lol! I think you'd enjoy this one (just maybe not in August! lol!)
My friend @Rote Runs Far loves this trail and has recommended it multiple times. There may be an ultramarathon on it next year! 50 and 100 miler. Oh noo! This does not seem like the trail to forget the poles on. Wow, wouldn't want to take that spider to the face LOL. Crazy you're never hungry after long hikes.. I'm ready for the buffet haha. The more parm the better btw! Man, that view of Louisville is AWESOME. Something so cool about knowing how far away it is and all the thousands of people living their life there in that moment while you're up in the hills on the trail.
Oh wow! Running an ultra on that trail would be a challenge, for sure! Knowing how you like these types of challenges, I definitely think you would enjoy it!
Looks an awesome trail… too hot for me though….🥵 and those straight up climbs ugh 😣…. Nice adaptation for the trekking poles … not lightweight but hey it is what it is !! Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Hey Dave! Thanks for watching! In my defense, I was supposed to be in the Porkies, but the plans fell through and ended up here... Weather in the Porkies would have been much nicer! Nevertheless, still glad I got the opportunity to tackle a great trail! Thanks again!!
@@tridudyonthetrail … still working on the Llama 🦙 backpacking trip video …. it’s roasting again here today so maybe i’ll drag out the ol laptop and put a bit more together 😁
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I’ve never done an overnight hike outside of Michigan-we are so lucky to have access to so much water! Congrats on your 50 miler!
You are absolutely right! Michigan is truly a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors! Thanks for watching!!
You have to finish the Indiana Triple Crown with the Tecumseh Tail and the Adventure Trail. It is great to have you down in our neck of the woods!

This looks brutal in that heat.
Yeah, Day1 was a reality check! lol! Thanks for watching!

I think you were off to t good start. Yes, you forgot a few things, but you didn’t die. lol. Looking forward to the rest of the trek.✌️
Not dead yet!! lol! Thanks for watching, Hashtag!!
Looks like a interesting trail. Never heard of it before.
@@robertmattice2588NeverTooOld Indiana has some really cool places… I’ve been surprised, honestly!
Those almost looked like the puff ball mushroom. We had a lot of those in Eagle Creek a few seasons back.
Definitely not a mushroom expert here! But there were some interesting fungi out there! Thanks for watching!!
