Great video, mate. As someone in the UK I will forever find it crazy that those in USA use mm/dd/yy. So weird 😂. As is °F rather than use °C 😂. Kudos on listening to Holding Back the Years by Simply Red showing on screen haha. All the best.
By pressing the button on the left stalk as I show in the video. If you don’t see it at first, keep pressing that button and eventually you should see it
Thanks for the question. Try pressing the start button three times in a row rapidly without your foot on the brake. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Unfortunately without an x1 I can’t show it. Try this instead, press the start button once to get the accessories on, but not running, then press the start button three times in a row, then press and hold the trip reset button and see if that works.
Thanks for the question. In the infotainment screen, click on Vehicle Settings, then I Drive Settings, then Software Update, and click on Restore Software, and then click on Default Software settings. I cover this in the video starting at 13:08. Thanks for watching
@Two Guys and a Ride this doesn't work on a European or Canadian 2018 - 2022 BMW X1 28ix. On other Bimmers you hold the radio power button from 15 - 70 seconds depending on the idrive version or vehicle. Doesn't on ours.
Thanks for the question. It’s under I drive settings and Tone. That’s where you’ll find all your sound settings. Watch the video starting at 11:39 and you’ll see it.
Unfortunately not it was redesigned in 2023. However it should still be in the same general area so try looking at settings, and then look for anything to do with sound and click on it. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

Have you tried holding down the volume button? If not give that a try, hold it down for about 35 seconds until it shuts down.
My x1 does not show the soundbar. What setting should I do?
