Fantastic Chris!!👍👍
Thanks!
this video is not only cool for the carving, but also great for comparing the different ways video can cover large amounts of time. I didnt realize until this how much I liked stop motion for covering large amounts of time.
Thanks! I really enjoyed this project.
Oh god..this is very hard work..unbelievable👍
Thanks! Very satisfying.
This is better than Netflix. Thanks for recording the whole process!

Incredible! Absolutely incredible!

Can't believe you don't have a million subscribers Chris. I found your website thru Mr. Chickadee. You like him put out well thought out content with little to no talking. It's so much better listening to the sounds of tools working the wood and any nature when outside. I love all your videos for their creativity with all the planning, hard work and detailed execution. Thanks, keep em coming and I'll keep watching
Thanks so much. More to come!
Extremely impressed. Bravo!

Great video as usual. Bet you would love a walk out basement 😀
No doubt!
Seems like you get better and better every time you carve. This one turned out great. BTW Love the stop motion!
Thanks Dennis!
I love watching your videos. It was super cool to see the stop motion for this!
Thanks. More to come!
Fantastic video, with beautiful pictures. It is so great to see the way you do it. Hour after hour. Wish you a nice week
Thanks!
That's.... Wow. What took longer: the carving, the editing, or the sharpening? Excellent work as always! Chris, the modern day artisan.
Carving 👍🏻
Chris I absolutely love what you did with that slab but at 01:10 when you split that log I almost bit my lip in half. I could see a huge set of ram horns almost complete staring at me from the top of that log and thought, "man that would look so cool above your Game of Thrones throne". I can't believe you didn't see it.
I saw it too and still have it. I like your idea.
omg, amazing video editing and of course, the work done for it
Thank you!
Sir, you are perseverance personified! Great job and beautiful carving!
Thanks!
ola!
qual seria meu primeiro passo para produzir peças assim?
Reúna todas as ferramentas de que você precisa, incluindo uma bancada de trabalho e, em seguida, encontre a madeira. Boa sorte.
Amazing skill. Very nice piece. But why do you cover the wood with clothes? I understand the floor to aid clean up, but you have the wood covered like it's awaiting surgery?
I put down the black sheet because I was taking photo’s for the time lapse. It reduces the glare.
@@ChopWithChris makes sense, I never would have thought of that been racking my brain over it.
😄
I just found your work. Very impressive. I can learn much from you. Have you looked at a laser cutter.
Umm. I don’t use electrical power tools
So above the wolf's head, is that a bird or something? I was just wondering.
its a bird - this is the logo for the Netflix series - The Witcher.
Wow this piece of art is amasing !! But at the same time i’m torne that this piece of wood was not made as a table or small jewlerie boxes etc ... What are you going to do with the rest of the tree ? Can’t wait to know lolll
The other half will probably be another carving. I used some of the walnut to make a bowl.
💪🛠👍🤓🇺🇦
😄💪
Can you do a review on the carving tools you used??
I want to buy a kit but dont know where to start😕
And btw you have an incredible level of craftmanship skill! And patience too
Thanks. What do you want to carve? It might help me give you advise.
Chris's wife when he brings a big chuck of wood through the house.... 😠
She especially hates when I chip the paint in the walls...but I’m lucky to have her.
@@ChopWithChris 😁 and knowing that! Is the whole game. Congrats sir.
👍🏻
Where's your missus during all the heavy lifting and moving? she should be giving you a hand ;)
She knows better than to get in front of the 2 wheeler...
Couldn't you have accomplished the same result with a Dremel Tool?
Where’s the fun in that? I enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
@@ChopWithChris I agree. And your work is spectacular. I was just asking because I saw a video of Dremel carving and it looked fun. But the constant sound of the tool was annoying. :-)
I don’t use electrical power tools so it off the table for me.
I like your shirt. Electricity is overrated.
Thanks!
@@ChopWithChris Don't you have it for sale?
No. I just had some made for myself. Maybe in the future.
