"It's the Titan!"
"Oh no!" It's another Enterprise!"
The Pakleds saw it coming.
Nice James Horner homage. I'm all for a USS Titan show if CBS/Paramount wants to pay for it.
Sadly we can't use the existance of a set or a model as proof it might happen. Unlike seeing the 1701 on Discovery and having that all but confirm that we're going to see a enterprise set show in the future due to the cost of sets, we are seeing a reused set from season 2 of Picard, with the stargazer as the original set version. And CGI is easy to whip up, seeing a brand new ship model on TNG would hint of it being there more frequently in the show, same with Early DS9 or early VOY. But we can hope for a new show with 7 as the captian of a ship or a commander.
I’d love a Titan show. All they need is light bulbs for the bridge and corridors.
RIP James Horner. This year has been a few Horner homages. Avatar: Way of the Water used Horner's original themes from the first film, the new Willow series on Disney also using his original themes and now this homage to him on Star Trek: Picard.
I still listen to Horner’s Wrath of Khan soundtrack regularly….have since I was first exposed to it at 6 years old.
So happy I'm not the only person who immediately thought this was Horner-esque.
Magnificent. Might be my new favorite Star Trek theme. An homage to Horner's work in TWoK and TSFS, coupled with a new Constellation class beauty like the Titan. A perfect mixture of old and new. This season of Picard is shaping up to be one of my favorite seasons of Star Trek.
starting at 00:37 it is almost a 1:1 copy of Cliff Eidelman's score for Undiscovered country . I thought that is the most obvious one
Has to be done with a constitution class makes it hit right 😅🔥
I hope they keep this theme for the eventual Enterprise-G/Legacy show...
Absolutely! But the intro should have the bigger more powerful version from the E-G's revelation scene. Keep this one for the end credits.
The first time I heard this I knew it was new, yet it felt so familiar. Inspired by Goldsmith and Horner, this piece is beautiful and unmistakably Star Trek.
It gives us hope that, even though both Goldsmith and Horner are gone, the gorgeous music that Star Trek is famous for will continue on.
So James Horner. I utterly adore this theme. It brought a tear to my eye. Magnificent.
Captain O Nine: "space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of starship, enterprise.....
If Legacy gets made, this should be the opening theme.
Its like James Horner as come back to do this 😃👍
The composer was told write the score in the style of if James horner and Jerry Goldsmith were still alive.
I think he more then delivered 😀
@@Kni6ght2000 Stephen Barton is amazing. He's shot up onto the list of my top composers with his Picard S3 work alone.
Some of the best music that James Horner never got to write.
Beautiful. This season is what I missed.
This is beautiful!
Love this theme. Classic Star Trek vibes abound.
Cant wait for the soundtrack to drop on april 20th! lots of good music
Same!
Lord I love this theme
If they make a seven of nine spin off, they should probably use this or some variation of this as the theme song in the opening credits.
the cue at 0:35
so good, a perfect melodic blend of Horner and Giacchino
Enterprising young men is such a criminally underrated trek theme. Kelvin haters be damned.
@@mikeysrants4527 Speaking as a TOS fan, I loved the Kelvin timeline.
Giacchino was never a good fit for Star Trek. He belongs to Abrams-esque adventure dramas, not to anything Trek-related.
To me it has elements of TOS and TNG, blended rather beautifully.
Specifically the movies. I fully agree. Probably one of the best Star Trek themes we've gotten since Voyager.
Beautiful piece. Could imagine being on the bridge of a ship and actually executing commands to depart space dock…with all its majesty and wonder :) well done on this score. Nailed it 💪🏽
I love this theme! What a wonderful homage to the work of James Horner! It sounds like something off Star Trek II or III. I love how music from across the franchise was used throughout season 3 of Picard. So many great composers! So much great music!
It reminds me of Episode 2 Wrath of Khan.
"oh yes the titan."
When I heard this, I had to think that this was an unreleased James Horner cue for one of the "Star Trek" movies.
If they do Star Trek: Legacy, this HAS to be the theme!
Hello Beautiful... Love this ship and love the theme...
Cosa vuol dire alla fine di ogni episodio rimanere incollati allo schermo per godere di un minuto di felicità....
The fast-paced version of this theme in the daystrom rescue sequence is 🔥
James Horner would be proud.
Has some Cliff Eidelman and Dennis McCarthy in there too.
U mean the Enterprise
Now it is Entreprise-G theme.
they can have themes written that line up with everything that's come before, they just didn't want to before. looking at you, DSC and PIC s1-2 themes. it was always a question of decision. and it frustrated the hell out of me to hear star trek themes that were out of place. athough I felt the same way about star trek IV so it's not new phenomenon. this new theme and the orcherstation, and the whole of PIC s3 kicks ASS
Does anyone know if there's a long version of this theme?
This is actually part of the “Leaving Spacedock” cue on the soundtrack album. This is probably the best isolated version you’re likely to find.
Im trying to understand why they went BACK with some ship designs?
I'd rather the vox over This
Waht a beatiful Theme for such an ugly ship design :( sad
