As a former Superintendent, I would have made sure that this announcer called the last game ever for our school district. Especially if he was OUR announcer. Incredibly unprofessional on his part.

Um I believe that's called going for a tie up. Player in white couldn't handle that and clearly elbowed to clear his space. That is what you call a foul. As is the visiting team's response. Should the visiting team player slam him totally he ground? Of course not but if you elbow someone in the face he's not exactly gonna be OK with it.
