Being compact prevents a lot of falling injuries as an athlete. Hope she gets well soon 🙏🏾
EVERYONE failed in this situation. Players, coaches, officials, trainers...even the venue personnel. They couldn't even clear a path for the paramedics to get through with the stretcher. smh
Players have no calls to make but should be trained to leave player there!
It’s like NO ONE on the entire LSU staff had ever seen much less dealt with a serious injury before.
This is ridiculous. The whole world saw these terrible medical decisions. Why were the medical people so slow and not high tailing it over to Poa immediately? I don't blame the players here - are they taught to not touch their teammates? Poa was reaching up to them asking for help to get up. The medical staff should have already been there and taken charge of the situation immediately. None of the players should have been allowed to move Poa because the medial team should have been there to make the proper decisions. Medical team only. Even lay people who follow sports know this protocol. This is now medical training on WHAT NOT TO DO for all teams and trainers across America. I really hope it is not serious, please, nothing serious.
When they did their asses were still moved slow as hell
Nobody cares. This sports obsession bs is dragging our society through the mud anyways
Players didn’t know the severity of her injury, but once you see she can’t walk stop walking her. Damn with was they thinking
THIS! This is what I’m tryna get across to ppl !!
They won't thinking at all, in Boxing they tell the Person that's been knocked to floor to stay down if they don't feel right or can't respond in orderly fashion
This is why the athletes need to all go through a first aid course. Those other players should have never picked her up even if she was asking to get up. This is so scary. 😮
No the medical staff should have never let her stand up and then they walked her! They are the trained medical ones!
I agree I do believe that athletes should be required to learn this in college.
Looks like they tortured her instead of calling medical attention…good job ladies 👏
The LSU trainers are SORRY...You walk her halfway across the floor before you think "OH MAYBE WE SHOULD JUST KEEP HER HERE AND NOT MOVE HER NECK" ALL THE LSU TRAINERS SHOULD BE FIRED!!!
These girls are so supportive not afraid to show their love and emotion for each other on the court no amount of hate can’t take that away from those beautiful girls
This s*** just made me cry and I'm a grown ass Man 😔. LOOK, DON'T MOVE PEOPLE WHEN THEY GET A HEAD INJURY SMFH😠
You a lil girl in a grown man body. Da fuq you crying 😭 😭 about. She alive still
Medical staff getting killed in these comment
What medical staff?
What a shame smh they all needa be shown how to react to an injury as such and refs and medical needa be fired not professional at all
They never showed a replay?
Jesus!
She nailed the back of her head hard as shit!
“She’s alright” being carried away on a board is not alright
They mishandled this. TBI’s can be life altering. Prayers.
Major fail. Where were the EMS qualified personnel? Should have been there fast. Heck, one dude didn’t even know how to operate the stretcher. The organizers of this tournament should be held accountable for not having trained medical staff on site. Where the heck is a doctor?
I saw yhat
You should google Athletic Trainer
I thought one of them was reading a candy bar.
Who the F stands up someone with a head injury!?! My God the incompetence here
why were the players acting as medical staff??
I’m not even a medical personnel and I understand that…as someone who watches football it’s pretty standard that they don’t move someone who’s possibly had a head or neck injury
@Gl6619 and usually when you take a charge/block you don't violently slam your OWN head into the ground behind you.. this play happens every single day.. 98% of people don't fall like her.
it's because it's women. You put women in high stressful or emotional situations and they fold like fucking laundry. reason why we don't need a female president EVER
I love 💗 when crowds at basketball games and NFL games chants players names to let them know for support
Fire everyone on the medical staff because wtf was that entire procedure??? That’s how you make it WORSE
My prayers goes out to Poa, her teammates & her family 🙏🏽 ❤️praying for fast recovery❤️ *coming from a gamecock fan*
Our prayers for Poa healing and a restoration of good health and a speedy recovery in the name of Jesus!
Amen yes
She looks so hurt. I hope she's OK. Poa is the soul of the team😢🙏🏾
Women shouldn't be playing professional sports. I hope she's ok though.
@@Martin199320such a bad take holy shit, men get hurt like this all the time. are you okay?
@@TweetsIsBoss you really going to use the word holy ........... Then use the word 💩 in conjunction with each other. You sport fanatics really are classless... I don't need your therapy session.
@@Martin199320you’re so stupid 😂😂
Prayers for a speedy recovery!
People saying "never pick somone up from a head injury" like they had the view we had
Was the LSU training staff waiting for the young woman's blood to cover the floor before they come out to check on her?
Lack of attention and compassion is astounding
Mismanagement of her after she went down like that. They should've left her on the floor and propped her head enough to stabilize her spine. They never should've tried to stand her up like that. Also, why didn't the medical team get out there sooner than that? That is horrible. Anyway, I hope she's okay. That is scary.
What were the trainers doing? I nearly jumped through the screen after seeing that fall.
Are you kidding me??! I’m a 16 year old who has been certified with Red Cross for life guarding.. even ik that when someone has a possible spine, neck or head injury YOU DO NOT GET UP AND WALK WITH THEM. Also they just let her head bobble! Get a neck stabilizer! Clearly these staff have not been trained and need to be fired. On a side not I’m glad she’s okay.
And your 100% Correct "Her Team Mates Should Have Never Picked Her Up" No one can step on the court until the Ref call time out. Thing like this needs to be addess in those team meetings.
Wow that’s so poorly handled by medical staff
UConn fan sending prayers we definitely know what this feels like. 🙌
Every single person who was supposed to be medical staff at this game needs to be fired . Wtf am I watching
The medical staff present during this should be fired.
Super fuckin L to the medical staff! That’s ridiculous
They took a big risk in picking her up after suffering an apparent head injury without doing a head to toe assessment on her. A person with any head , neck , or back injuries should never be moved until that is done , unless surrounding conditions are life threatening. I was surprised to see them do that. They should have stabilized her with the c- collar and backboard BEFORE they got her up.
I have been on the receiving end of concussions and trust me, it’s pretty brutal.
Her head bounced off the floor like a basketball. So sad the lack of urgency in getting her medical attention.
y’all keep saying they shouldn’t have moved her but did y’all not see the part where she reached up for help??? she wanted to be lifted up.
I know that AMR EMS crew was not expecting to work today. Looked stiff and not prepared. Just IMO.
Too many serious injuries. Somehow they need to address this issue. By this point in the season, many teams are barely able to field 7 players,
Start with the refs and coaches. I knew this was going to happen.
Looks like a massive concussion. Ouch!!!
Yea that’s massive concussion. It’s she starts crying that’s the bodies reaction your in a crisis to possibly the most vital part of your body. Poor players thought she could shake it off by getting up, then coaches and EMT kept her up right which is bad.
@@MisterFridayOMGI seen people get concussions and not cry . Crying isn’t a response to a concussion, it’s subjective
Prayers she is ok. 😢
Look on the bright side. What would happen if Angel Resse did to Caitlin Clark?
I agree with yall but honestly the teammates are the ones who got her up. trainers did not hit the floor in time like they should have! Neither did the coach might I add! I understand there's fans and a crowd but none of those girls should of encouraged her to get up.
The coach was real late.
Man as someone who has his fair share of concussions that’s the scary thing when you taken out on a stretcher wish her a speedy recovery
0000 but 😊😊😊000 not sure how much obliged for you are there for one 9AM or another r 9AM 9AM to start with the app and then 9th on demand that one 9ppo99app will app the game and a oops like the 9AM or a 😊ool😊
Wow, why was the medical staff so slow??!
These medical professionals need to be retrained. 🙏
When the medics finally arrive they are 90 years old
Those trainers should be fired for trying to make her walk like that unacceptable criminally negligent
Love You Poa Your Passion And Love For My School And Your Fellow Team Members Is Extra ORDINARY!!!!!!❤
Flajaue took that to heart she was mad for her
shes a nice stud
That's what I can't stand about her! It wasn't a dirty play at all! She takes everything personal.. get over yourself! She then played like a fool herself!!! She's lucky she didn't get hurt too!
