- The process of how to remove body mount bolts and bushings on our 1965 GTO restoration is the same for any 64-67 A-Body and most other classic cars. We used an impact to knock the body bushing bolts loose, for those that were broken they received a cutting wheel or carbide burr to extract them. This process is roughly the same for most any full-frame muscle car. We used OPGI bushings as our benchmark for the floor pan installation.

Thanks for stopping by! You guys going to get back to making videos? Looks like you had some good ones!
I’m new to this stuff. I have a very nice 65 cutlass Oldsmobile f85 but it needs need body bushings, does the car need to be on a lift or on jack in order to change them???? Or, just change while sitting on the ground… thanks.
You shouldn’t need to jack the frame up. You will however need to slightly lift the body very gently to swap out the body bushings
Just did my Chevelle. my car is not a rust bucket, and I was eing careful. 2 were missing, 2 bolts broke, 3 of the cages failed, and a got the others out okay.
