I love your songs.So there's that. And I think getting over a broken first love is harder than coming out for many gay guys. You have that wonderful thing that seemed so utterly impossible for so long. And then you don't. You knew it couldn't last, you didn't deserve it, you were a fool, never again. But being cynical (or bitter, or scared) about love is almost another kind of closet. After experiencing the stages of grief, you have to find the courage to put yourself out there again. Because there's a guy out there who's as great as you and who will make it work.
