I remember this day. I was 9 years old and had been a Ricky Rudd fan since I saw his number 10 Tide car on display outside of a nearby grocery store when I was 4. This was my first ever NASCAR race I had been to, and ironically the last win for Ricky Rudd, even more ironic considering Rudd was the first Winston Cup winner at this track in 1989. I can still remember jumping and screaming like crazing when I saw Nadaeu pull off on the hairpin and saw Rudd take the lead right in front of where I was sitting behind the start/finish line.
@@pinnedthrottle7690 I was 12 when this aired. I do remember seeing the Ricky Rudd Tide car back in 1994 when he drove the number 10 car. I also got to meet him as well. My mom got an autograph from him to me. I still have his pictured autograph framed somewhere lol
