It's an exaggeration obviously, but the americans know customer service. In ireland we're still figuring it out... But sure still, never met a barman like him 😂
To work as an 'exaggeration' it needs to be based on a common shared experience. A barman like that in Ireland is very uncommon since they would drive the customers over to the competition in a week. The vast majority of Irish barmen are extremely professional and friendly without any cash incentive. If by 'customer service' you mean that phoney 'have a nice day' rubbish, with mechanical phrases designed to elicit a bigger tip, then you are most welcome to it. I love good satire, but I'm afraid this attempt misfires badly.
Most of the US examples are correct, but I wouldn’t expect free chips at the bar. Sometimes they got something out but by and large you’ll pay for any food. Also you’d better tip em 😅
Where i live all the bar workers in pubs around where i live, are very friendly the owner would often give me a few bags of taytos and some drinks and stuff. Dont know where ye are but where i am there certainly very friendly.
Exaggeration is a part of comedy no one said this is a statistical societal analysis of every Irish bar in the country, they're just taking the piss like...
Yeah? Because I can go to just about any bar in my podunk farm town and get imports from the UK, Canada, Mexico, Germany, and Belgium and that's not including the higher quality American beers that aren't the bud/miller lite stuff.
People are saying they never came across bar tenders like that. I have come across far worse. I also did a bar course and it is noted by the tourism board that the service industry in Ireland is shocking.
He forgot the part where if you don't tip the Yank for doing his job he will completely ignore you for the rest of the night...
James Smith we don’t tip in Ireland so that’s where the confusion comes in
If you don't have a tab running, then you tip after each round. Otherwise, you tip when paying the tab
Its a Tuesday morning 😂😂😂
😂😂😂 popping the bag of crisps in his hand

Those bars looks very similar must be a chain bar and grill
Americans expect a 25% tip at the end. And there are many differences between city and local pubs
truth son 20%
But the clientele are usually sober enough to keep it at at 10-15% if they know they won't be back for a while
The head on Senan 😵😵😂
Anyone know the name of the lad in the American bar
Exaggeration is a part of comedy no one said this is a statistical societal analysis of every Irish bar in the country, they're just taking the piss like...
