I've been married 3 times and not one of my husbands could have patiently helped me do anything like this project . They would have played dumb , said that's a stupid idea do not do that , or gotten so frustrated and impatient that I would have said go away I'll do it by myself . You are so blessed ! I did this same thing w plain white contact paper thirty years ago because the fridge we could afford was 2nd hand Harvest Gold . 🤣

Thanks! I held it up both ways and liked the way the paper lines and pattern fell better horizontally but definitely with other papers I would try the vertical way also 💕☺️💕

Believe it or not, I have never tried peel and stick wallpaper. I think your fridge turned out really cute. I am going to keep this in mind to use in the future. You made it look very easy.
I love both regular and peel and stick but there are different pros and cons for both. Yes, you will have to try it 😍 It actually was much smoother than I expected 😄

I think the only thing I would do different would see if I could keep the little space as a shelf for jug & cups while outside but depends on how complicated the removal of the ice dispenser is.

Fun! I’ve been wanting to do something like this to our fridge…wonder why you went horizontally rather than vertically with the paper?
Good question! I honestly just felt like the horizontal would be easier and I also liked the pattern in that direction. You could definitely do it vertical as well 💕
Just take your utility knie a gently poke a hole or make a tiny slice in the remaining bubbles and gently smooth. That should take care of most....especially on the cardboard. Great idea,!!!!

will the spray paint get onto the inside of the bottom vent and prevent air flow?

I honestly didn’t think about that but it was a very quick and light spray so probably is fine. I think that much dust and dirt probably gets in there too from being outside 🤷🏼♀️🥰
Why did you hang the wallpaper with the pattern sideways??? Rather than vertically as it was intended? Is it a question of width?
Yes, when I held it vertically, it seemed like the paper ends would be falling in strange places on the fridge, and for some reason the other direction the pattern just seemed to make me happier ☺️🤷🏼♀️ I’m sure you could definitely do either way though.

Je trouve le résultat très joli. Mais je trouve que ce n’est pas hygiénique, j’ai besoin d’avoir un réfrigérateur avec une surface lessivable et qu’on peut désinfecter toutes les semaines. Ce n’est pas pour moi.
