The things i always miss in these videos are indepth talk. How is it connected? Is it connected like you would on a normal outlet or is it connected inverted? When the system uses power instead of producing it will it also give a positive reading? So will usage will also add to the "production" or will it show a minus reading when producing and a positive reading using? Do you set the device that it is connected to a pv or is it just reporting a value like it was using power instead of producing it?
Hi! I'm curious about how you connected the Shelly 1PM to monitor your PV systems? You said that your systems were 220V max at 16A for a total of 3.5KW. How does it work if the Shelly only accepts 24-60V in DC?
Great video, can you please share the connections? Y but and try one Shelly 1PM and connect it between per line and inverter and always 0w showing. Y will expect negative values because inverter is connected to O Shelly connector but 0w every time

I am in Australia and we have 240 V systems and I have 5 kW solar on the roof, and the solar hot water system. I want to monitor my consumption and solar production, would Shelly EM be suitable? If so what should be the amps per channel do you recommend? Thanks
I also have a Shelli EM for a 3.6 KW system. Works well with 50A transmitter. It also relieves tension, so you can see if the tension is high. At 255V the inverter switches off.

Shelly accepts both DC and AC

Shelly EM is good! It works well for me with a 50A transmitter.

I have connected Shelly 1PM between network inlet and inverter but Shelly always indicates 0 Watts. How did you connect your Shelly?
