Pretty insane that with a destroyed shoulder he STILL comes back and would have won both overalls of the last two races, if not for the crash with Glenn and the tip over in Latvia. He's just incredible. Awesome job as always Red Bull👊
The word brake in Herlings' vocabulary does not exist. Incredible talent even if luck often turns his back because 4 titles are few with 91 victories at 26 years old. He also won the trophy of nations with the Netherlands in 2019.Great!
It was a treat to get to see you Jeffrey at the USA MX DeNations at Red Bud. You were down like 16 positions and clicked them off one by one...it was an awesome ride.
What strikes me about JH, from watching countless bits of footage of him riding, is how efficient he is, besides so many other attributes. It seems as if his rear wheel is on the ground as much as possible, biting the dirt and pushing him forward a lot more than other riders. Even as aggressive as he is, there is a level of fluidity and smoothness, whereby every bit of sliding is pushing the bike forward, as if it has a comouter aimed at bringing the bike to the finish line as fast as possible.
I really hope he comes to America before it's too late. A lot of people think he can win in the US. But he needs to make the move before he's at the end of his prime so that he has at least 3 years of his best to try.
I was looking for someone to say this. His Dad said he would have more title than anybody, but look at 222s titles. I dont know if Herlings will ever catch that.
I totally agree with your comment. The best athlete in any sport doesn't have to possess the most championships or titles. James Stewart had a lot of talent with out a doubt but Bubba wasn't a smooth rider by far. If Bubba would have rode smooth instead of over riding most of the time he would have accomplished more in his career and he wouldn't have crashed as much. The greatest MX and SX rider from the U.S. has the most AMA championships and that's Ricky Carmichael.
@@jimjettjr.2727 what do you consider the "greatest" tho? What is that definition to you? Imo, outright speed, does go to JS7. Even RC4 thinks James is the fastest to ever do it and that should carry a lot of weight. If its a balance of riding that edge while staying up best.. rc4 obviously, but I think RV is up there too.... No where is McGrath in the conversation. His style is too old school. In his prime then, he wouldn't make a main today.
Herlings is like the James Stewart of mxgp the most raw talent and speed on the track just plagued by injury maybe he should learn to dial it back if James would have dialed it back he would have won more championships than Jeremy McGrath in supercross I’m American but I have a lot of respect for these mxgp guys jumps aren’t that big but the tracks are so tacky and rough it’s sick
I think if you see Motor cross as you have to win. you will never like it as a sport but I think if you see motocross as a hobby or a thing that you love. you’re willing to put all your heart and soul into it. Even if you win or lose you can still enjoy yourself. Riding the bike because that’s all that matters. And I’m not saying that he doesn’t do that but I think he has too much pressure on him to win and be the best. that he will never ever love doing what he does. he may say that but deep down in his heart he does not love it. Because at the moment he thinks it’s more of a job than a lifestyle and a career choice. That’s my opinion anyway
This makes me wanna go to a dealer buy a bike which will be a kx 100 i know its not the greatest bike to have because of my age but that's what i can afford at the moment next option is to figure out how to get involved into motocross which i have no clue about, hopefully win some championships i just hope to get some support like a team it seems like a white dominated sport i just hope to be treated fairly..

Can this be made into a netflix series.. The community would benefit so much out of it.
You are a machine. SIR JEFFERY OF HERLINGS. Love everything you do you are a remarkable sportsman💚😎

Do your best and have fun….. now that is wise coaching 👍
Remember racing his mecanic Ruben in youth amateurs, he was very fast and talented as well.
This is such a great seriesn
Wish he would come to the us for one whole outdoor season
I DO BELIEVE HE WOULD COME TO AMERICA AND DOMINATE FOR SEVERAL YEARS UNLESS WE COULD EVER HAVE ANOTHER CARMICHAEL COME UP

wont happen ..maybe for a single event , herlings has made that clear many times
Good job redbull!! Still better filming than the actual mxgp 🤣
I wish he'd come to America and race it would be awesome
One of the most misunderstood racers in MXGP.
What do u mean with that?
less than half the world titles of TC222 but nearly the same GP wins. shows how much of a Winner jeffery is
I was looking for someone to say this. His Dad said he would have more title than anybody, but look at 222s titles. I dont know if Herlings will ever catch that.
This is exactly why "the best" rider doesn't always have the most championships. JS7 is the same way...
