I know i might sound crazy, I have crazy idea if you are interested.In today's world we take, water and shelter for granted. Most of us consume rather create. What will happen if you strip all the luxury and convince of modern living and fight for your existence. I challenge you guys for future episodes if possible to survive is in remote inhabited pacific island whit cloths to stand up in and few basic tools. You will complete be alone filming your self as you struggle for 🔥 fire, water and shelter for as long as between 15-20 days. Seek discomfort on unavailable level . It be would nice if you include me in the series, it would push me out of my comfort zone as I am scared of dark, forest and swimming in the deep ocean or deep water.You could other invite friends or strangers for the challenge

I used to take a 16 hour bus from Toronto to Washington D.C. to visit high school friends. I think it was scheduled as 14 hours and always ended up being at least 2-4 more. I've seen bus drivers fistfight, a man with a garbage bag as a luggage get whooped by his seat mate because he wouldn't stop calling her "homey", talked to older immigrants with stories to tell, college kids who picked fights with border control, and had a cute Ukrainian girl straight up make a move on me. It was miserable and exhausting but brought me some of the most interesting moments of my life. Matt is hugely right in that these things prepare you for the uncomfortable and unexpected.

First time on a greyhound to Vegas from LA. I was 17. I finger banged some chick in the back of the bus. Great memories
I took the bus from Hamilton, Ontario, via Detroit, then to Cincinatti (I think) then to St. Louis, Missouri ( I remember the arches) then went to Mobil, Alabama to meet my Dad. He picked me up and drove me to Pensalcola, Florida to meet up with the rest of my family who went ahead on vacation the week before. That was in 1987 Spring.
I was 17 years old at the time. I remember the variety of people I met on the bus. The casual conversations, the interesting stories and the joking around while sitting at the back of the bus. What a time!!

I just did 53 hours from Oregon to Detroit, it was honestly the best trip of my life, cigarettes and weed at every stop mixed with no sleep and cool people, i’ll never forget it.

That mother was probably dreading having to take her kid on a long bus ride across the country. Kids are super antsy and don't really process all that's going on or needs to happen. You guys seemed to make that little girls bus ride 10x better, and probably took a huge load off that mothers shoulders. I'm sure she was super appreciative, good on you guys!

I'm from Sydney, Australia. We went to visit our relatives years ago when they were living in McAllen, Texas. We flew to LA to do the tourist sites and on the way back, me and my husband opted to take the Greyhound bus from Anaheim to McAllen. No one told me it was a 37 hour trip. But had the best time. One I will never forget.

When I got out of the Army, they decided I did not qualify for moving assistance to go back home where everyone else that was in my "class" transitioning to civilian life did. (luckily I put in some requests and phone calls and got what I needed after the fact) So I had to take a bus from JBLM, WA to South Mississippi and it was a hell of a long ride. Luckily for me though, it was me and 10 other people or so and it was a hole shot bus ride with no other pick ups or drop offs. The bus driver stopped frequently for snacks and bathrooms and even did homework ahead of time and looked up popular spots on the way and asked if there was any of them we wanted to take a detour and visit them for an hour or so on the way. Because at the end of the day, he is stuck on the same nightmare ride that we are. It was quite enjoyable considering. It was a "premium" ride with overnight hotel stays and all of that but there was no flights for like a week and this was cheaper than any flight + hotel I would have needed until the flight at the time and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Sadly I have only gone on one other bus ride like that since, I don't think they do them like that anymore.

There are a couple absolute certainties when it comes to riding greyhound: Every single stop, no matter where it is, you can find a passenger smoking weed somewhere, and if you stop in Atlanta for more than an hour, you're guaranteed to see a naked crackhead.
Hell, the last time I went through Atlanta, I went out to smoke a cigarette, and watched a police officer passing a blunt with a passenger as a butt naked woman on drugs danced in the street and begged for money.
Back in June 2018, I flew out from California from Massachusetts to see my girlfriend who was out there for a 3 month internship.
We took a bus from San Luis Obispo to San Francisco to see my uncle. On the bus, we met a guy named Ethan. We spent the trip talking about the west coast vs. the east coast. 2 years later, we are still friends!

matrixfull it’s because America has made it a crime to even think about interacting with children you don’t know, you fear for what others might say or think regardless of your intentions, and that simply doesn’t exist in Europe, a kid is just a kid and you interact with them like they are regular children.
This made me realise how many people were doing it because they couldn't afford a flight. So what would be cool would be to go to a bus station like these, find a worthy stranger and fly them to their destination - and if time is saved fill those spare hours with adventures

I “rode the Hound” from San Francisco to NYC many years ago. Took 3 1/2 days. Get off every stop to stretch your legs. Make friends with the many friendly folks that can be on these buses. Expect some very high folks as part of the ride and hope that doesn’t include the driver.

I did this across Canada 15 years ago immediately after graduating high school. I can definitely relate. You really do become a family on the bus. Also you become a zombie after the first 36hrs. Its also an experience I highly recommend to people. Its surprisingly cheap, you'll see a whole bunch of your country, and its something you'll never forget!

I lived in Wichita in the summer and I really enjoyed it! So many local brews
I recently took a greyhound from Ohio to LA. That 2½ day trip turned into a 5 day journey. Partially because we had to take a 7 hour detour after rescuing another bus full of people who were misguided on that detour and wound up stranded on a mountain in Colorado. The story actually made local news. It was a life changing voyage that I actually loved. From the hazy Central States, to the beautiful sites in Colorado, to even the 5 hour delayed layover in that very same st Louis station, it was all just a perfect stressful adventure. I got to walk down to the river and take in the astonishing gateway arch a 4:00am and touch it. The intoxicated step siblings that were clearly in love made for a very interesting encounter while down there. I could carry on, but this UA-cam, it's for those who wait for the movie to come out instead of reading the book so I'll save the story for another platform.
I started watching some of these the other day, and man is it weird seeing this kind of stuff (it’s 2020). Every time they touch something or someone else or just interact, I think “AH GERMS”. I hope we can get back to this state where it doesn’t matter what we touch, do, or who we hang out with.

I've done about a 390 hours in a bus within 3 years
I’ve done two separate long road trips, one from
Houston->NYC->ATL->HOU
and one from
Houston->Denver->Sedona AZ->HOU
and they were both very long but a blast. I love road trips far more than any other form of travel

I love those greyhound roadtrips took one to washington dc from new york.Even though it was four hours thoroughly enjoyed it.Me and my niece all packed up with our picnic lunch for washington.I liked all the rest stop to get refreshed and seeing new scenery.Widh if i ever go back to new york to do another one maybe to niagara falls.

I did this same bus route in 2018. I lasted 20 something hours with no sleep after a 9 hour bus delay. Just left the greyhound station in Atlanta and took an uber to the airport.

People here on my country, before a Syria war has been started, every year they were going to a Mecca for a Hajj piligrimage only by bus, around 2000+ km, they were making about 7+ days in a bus with much love for going there and loving their Creator ALL-LLAH!

That video was so much more fun than I expected. Longest bus ride for me 13 hours in Turkey on holiday but their buses are super nice like an aeroplane but with stops for food & bathroom breaks. They used to show movies and put lemon sanitiser in our hands every time we got back on the bus : )

Honestly...I love long bus drives, ever since I am used to doing the Romania - Spain route. I'd definitely go on this route just for the sights to see.
This brings back memories of band when I had to ride these grey hound busses for 8 years in high school and college. And when I tell you I did not use the bathroom one time for over 12 hours, worse decision of my life.

I did a bus journey from London UK to Warsaw Poland once, which took about 30hrs. My poor ass was in agony by the time we finally arrived. Can’t imagine what these guys went through. My advice is bring cushions with you if you have to do this!
