Yes. but 9 hours before it's posted! Unfair lmao
aw man you beat me :C
are you guys still in no nut november?
I love how this seems like a sidequest in a game, like everyone goes "Ya gotta talk to Carl down at the grocery" and then Carl goes "Nah i sold the wares so ya gotta talk to Fred at the barn"
Hallis fully is 😂
It’s like a pointless side quest in which you have to organize something but you keep going to different people
Omg thats exactly what i was thinking 🤣🤣
great comment 10/10
Haha love it
that’s def the vibe i got from it 😂
When everyone in the whole city is at the party you can’t get any noise complaints
I've both been to and thrown those just one state south. I wondered if yes theory was in Oklahoma
LIFE HACK
Yeah 😂
It ain't even a city. It's a town, heck it might even be considered a village. I have to look up the definition again.
plus the cop was there😂
Me and my friends just visited the town.... Ppl still talk about that party. Everyone so friendly. This is my first connection with the YES THEORY family.
Is my youtube bugging or did you write that you werent going to give blizzard ur money?
@@EL_DANJZ You're glitching I think.

"He is actually a stripper". LOL. This is no way a boring town. That level of humor, openness and generosity is so precious!
we need more people like them. i had so much joy watching this. thank you!
Sometimes boring towns are where you meet genuine people
I LOST IT WHEN THE GUY FROM THE NEWSPAPER SHOWED UP LMFAOOO
The sentence "We are always looking for something to put i the paper and you guys are the most intresting thing that happened in the past 3 years."
i fucking lost it when the guy from the barn was his family
@@FantasKanal which is actually not true, cos if you look them up, there was a pretty sad shooting and suicide that occurred (attempted murder suicide) there in 2018. but i thought it was sweet the guy said that.
In the article he says Amar is the assistant 😑

The fact that they’re just like “oh yeah, let’s call James” and it’s just randomly the guys cousin and like 12 people are waking with them to talk to people. I love small towns 😂😂
*Walking
Helena Acevedo it’s fun trust
Helena Acevedo soooooo many people wanna love in LA don’t take it for granted.
@Helena Acevedo There are perks to growing up in a small town but I kind of hate it. Words spreads too fast, there is a lot of drama, no industry, and you don't have many options for friends. For example I'm a drummer and guitarist, but there are literally two other people in the school that can play anything (other than in the school band) and we don't like the same music
Nate Urban yeah, that’s one caveat. Not a lot of diversity in there so if you don’t like some people then you’re fucked. But a smaller community can also mean more personal relations and a stronger sense of brotherhood, or am I wrong?
"We need to find someone called Emma" just shows how small the town is and how familiar everyone is there
Just them gathering random locals as they go on their quest is the most comedic thing 😂
I would say beautiful!
i love how the newspaper guy just rolls up saying he was looking for them and they haven't even been in the town for an hour
he might also have the most boring job in town, as there is literally nothing to talk about
KrekreDoBusao

I live in California, and me and my fam and friends don’t say last names either. Neither do my neighbors, or anybody I’ve met unless someone asks for it. I actually forget to tell businesses my last name for a few seconds before realizing, duh I need to give my last name to them, lol.
I’m blue da ba dee da ba daa- I mean like throughput the whole town, like im pretty sure that where you live someone can’t just say go find bob if you’ve never met bob
It's wonderful to hear Emma speak to the young generation about the benefits of living and working in small community. She truly is the influencer
"Don't wait for someone else to create the environment you crave"- incredibly wise and powerful lesson- thank you
I love how they’re just like “what about James” and they all know who James is without even having to mention a last name or the street he lives on
loool
First time I've heard someone at a party joyfully scream,
"THE COPS ARE HERE".
Fr
whats more funnier is.. i see 911 thumbs up on your comment while i type this lol
They need a beer too i guess
I’m dead 😂☠️
we used to do that for joke when I was young and partying
Emma, explaining things at the end was so heart touching and I felt each and every single word she said . Bless her soul and everyone in that town
I would like to thank you for coming to our small community to do this, although I was only a freshman in highschool and didn’t get to attend I heard a lot of stories and this town is amazing! James was actually my boss for 3 years and everyone in this video is someone who I am close with him some form! I only lived there throughout my highschool years and everyone was more than welcoming and I became a big influence in the short time i was there.
A party where you can say "the cops are here" with a smile and excitement.
Hahaha no but seriously
The cop is here
And he's a stripper lol.
😂😂😂
@@Lithane97 haha loved that part :D
imagine if this becomes a town tradition to throw a big party every year
I thought the same thing omg
that would be cool but it wouldn't be the same without them, everyone would probably be sitting around
Hopefully! 💯
I swear i was just thinking about doing that LOL
Yes mannn
I didn't think the town was boring. It was quiet and worked at its own pace. The community seemed really open minded and welcoming to anyone outside looking in. Seemed like really good folk.
My kinda travel destination. I'm not a fan of crazy noise and rowdy crowds
Mission accomplished. Just checked the 2023 town rankings on Google and Mankato is no longer on it. No doubt thanks to the good people at Yes Theory. In all seriousness, thanks to the entire "Yes Theory" content creation team for putting out such high quality positive energy for the rest of the world to consume. I love the message and the idea of stepping outside one's comfort zone. It's an amazing world out there, and it's an amazing time to be alive.
First time "the police are here" has been a good thing to hear at a party
Lmao haha true
Bruh feels bad to be the 5 not chosen
In my teen years I lived in a country where the police where corrupt 20 something year olds and would be the lit-est at parties. Showing up in uniforms and stripping lol
"He's actually a stripper"

@@smileyface3956 as in slavonia, i live in a village of around 4k people and everyone knows everyone, if you are younger they will know you by your parents or grandparents. It is much cooler than living in a big city because you feel like a part of the community, in a city you are just a number of the population.
I'm sure y'all will never see this but i just wanted to comment and let you guys know this video single handedly changed my perspective on what it means to live a fulfilling life. I watched this when it was first posted and think about it weekly, especially the clip with the teacher who moved away and came back because she realized she could make a much greater impact in a small community. I grew up in a smaller town and never felt like I fit in, so I moved away to the city never expecting to look back. Now I've been here for a decade and a lot of my time is spent feeling like a cog in the machine and reminiscing on the place I came from.
This video and its concept as a whole is so incrediblely beautiful and human and I really feel grateful to have been witness to it.
So thank you so much. And if my family and I ever get to follow our dreams and move out to a little farm in the middle of nowhere I will continue to think of this video and be thankful for it ❤

As a gay man from a very rural community in Ohio, I can say I have experienced zero homophobia here. I've only experienced hate in so-called diverse inclusive cities. The world over this holds true for me and this even includes middle eastern nations that most would call homophobic.
I don't feel like that's a universal attitude in Kansas. Although I would say things have improved in the last 30 years. Having grown up near Mankato I would say the people from there tend to be more friendly and open. Nearby Scandia is also very much like that. It's one of those, "If you had to choose a small town to make us all look good" situations.
@Jesse Champagne I’ve lived in California and in Ohio. The only time anyone has ever been racist to me was in California.
@@HGRAP1 I feel like because bigger cities are obsesssed with politics and social issues while smaller towns have other things to worry about and more focused on their family and ect
