And they say white privilege doesn't exist lol! They would never let some black guy get on board like that, at least they very rarely would in relative terms.
DFDS deserves a lot of praise for their culture. From the corporate employees to the ship's crew, DFDS is doing something right to have such a welcoming and positive environment.
The lowkey hero of this video is the dude at that other shipping company who told them about DFDS. Guy had no incentive to tell them anything, and yet he's really the one who set this whole thing in motion.
shoutout the DFDS on the ground employees for being so chill that even the employees for another company at a random port knew they'd be the ones to ask😭😭😂
Yo, I didn’t even realize that! Obviously we could all see how laid back their culture is, but I didn’t catch that even other companies know who to point to even though it’s a competing company
Super smart by fhe DFDS team to ok this. Now millions of people will know about/ of their company who previously had no clue they existed, they get to show how good of an employer they potentially are with what seems to be very very high quality of life when working on their ships and also that they value customer service with how they interacted and treated them from Thomas’ initial contact, to responding immediately via email, how they were treated when they arrived at the dock and when they were on the ship up until their departure from the vessel. Well played DFDS
@@gh4707 true, it's insane to think about from a PR perspective considering how much good this kind of culture does for employee relations, employee morale, AND customer/public perception of your brand. all as a byproduct of seemingly just being decent to people? love to see it.
@@ky... fact. I always say that morale is much cheaper than the bosses seem to think. This didn't really cost the company much of anything, and I am sure that their employees are feeling great about the experience as well.
The crew seemed like they were just so happy to have something fun and different happen. They looked so thrilled to share their daily lives with people who had no idea how it was to work on a ship.
@@Farazormal1 what could this possibly be advertising? It’s just all around good vibes. The average person watching this will find absolutely no use out of being advertised a shipping company, and those who would find a use already know enough that this wouldn’t teach them anything new or persuade them in any way.
Most companies would shy away from this, the fact that DFDS truly utilized this is a full blown collaboration video and got all of their staff onboard at this level is truly a show of AMAZING brand culture and awareness of what an awesome opportunity this is for them! Respect to DFDS!
@@kimjong-un5074I mean they work in an international Industry, so they use the english language quite often in their work. But yes, i agree, this crew was really brilliant and seemed very professional and yet friendly and social.
It's so nice to see this vulnerable and emotional side of these men. They do sacrifice a lot to provide for their families, that's admirable. The captain is not what I was expecting, he's such a nice and cool dude! I didn't know cargo ships could be this cool and interesting!
I have to say , it appears that DFDS must be one of the top shipping companies in the world. Moral was high. The ship was the cleanest I have ever seen. The staff on shore were very pleasant. The crew were awesome and trained for their drills. The Captain took time to help make this video a smashing hit. Great Job Guys. Who knew this was out there.
To be fair they had days to prepare good looking, video-friendly environment. DFDS obviously wanted to put their best foot forward and be represented in a positive light but I'm sure not every ship is like this.
yeah, i like how at the beginning they say "the thing about ridiculous ideas is that most people don't even think to ask" as if a normal person can be like "Hey I have 8 million subs let me hitchhike on your cargo ship?" still a fun video though
I mean, it's a logistics company. Random people on UA-cam don't make up their clientele, and I doubt that the businesses they're dealing with will care about their fun environment
Thats where you are wrong, I am a Operations Manager and although I dont choose the ships, I choose the freight company... and I get to deal with the shipping company. You would be surprised to know how far these videos and gestures reach....
DFDS is a truly great company. I used to travel with their passenger ferries growing up. Every interaction with everyone of their staff members have always been great. Even when one of their ships broke down and we had to drive through Europe instead, they compensated everyone and went the extra mile to please their guests.
Wow I didn't expect a cargo ship company to be filled with such positive, uplifting people. Whoever that's in charge of their HR policies has done a good job of.
I do 3PL and move a lot of containers mostly from China but also some from Vietnam etc, I have seen a lot of sites where you can register to book passage on a container ship but obviously you have to pay.
People really are, it's just that daily life can be mundane for all of us, and so when two people meet who are having a mundane day, their interactions might be mundane as well. Basically: be the first, others will always follow, and I swear your jaw will shoot straight through the ground at how effective this is.
there are more than a few billion like him, its just the shitty ones that are advertised, so short-sighted people like you keep spamming stuff like this on the internet.
As a fellow Turkish person, watching the Turkish crew being so lively friendly and making yes theory feel home made me so happy, but you know im not surprised 😁
Mad props to DFDS who know how to get positive PR for their company. So many companies now a days don't understand the importance of a positive image. Two thumbs up DFDS.
Shows how much DFDS is confident in showing what they do I feel like most companies would be so scared bc they do illegal stuff that you hear about all the time.
its mostly about insurance^^ u can book cargo trips but they cos 100 to 150€ a day for longer trips like southhampton shanghai southhampton with multiple stops its 84 days... cargo ships are dangerous bad weather can shake the ships violently also in some areas pirates are a threat
So for people like you that don’t know here’s what really happened. The company paid yes theory to do a video as such as in for the advertisement convenience in their favor so this guy yes theory does staged videos that sell very good to a lot of people that don’t know that. To me he is one of these new 🐀 youtubers that are afraid of the real content like Ross Creations, Ed Bassmaster, Kurt Caz ect
DFDS is hands down one of the nicest vessels with such a great crew and captain, this could be an advertising video because after this I'd want to work for this company !
to be honest, this is really the best advertisement dfds can get. Like imagine the youngins watching this and be like "wow I want to become a ship captain when i grow up" or something like that.
It's good to see big companies like DFDS, be so down to earth like this, and allow Yes Theory to spread good vibes and joy like this. Biggest winner in this might be the crew.
My uncle was a ship radio operator for many years. He met my aunt while they unloaded in Mexico, and they continued their cute little romance every time he passed by her city. Eventually, she had the chance to board with him a couple of times during short trips. She wasnt a fan of the sea, but my uncle remminesenced the long trips until the day he die. It's not for everyone, but its awesome that you guys also got to experience that.
I spent 47 years working at sea, started as a boy of 15 YO worked my way to the top. Never worked for DFDS but sailed with many who had. Never heard a bad word from any former employee of theirs. Hats off to DFDS for showing a caring company that looks after their workers welfare so well, and even allow UA-cam content makers to go for a trip to experience life onboard. Not only a great video for DFDS but a great recruitment advert for an industry that's always looking for new recruits. Good job by everyone involved!
This was such an incredible experience and I can't wait to hang out with the Captain and crew again soon. Yes Theory has truly changed my life. As Thomas said...most people don't even think to ask...
I don't think anyone realizes they got to pick the ship and the crew was that friendly and open. It wasn't hand-picked by DFDS and this just shows how amazing the staff is on most if not all their vessels, I'm suuuuper impressed
@@wyckedsyndicate he’s saying that they’re a crew, not a staff. Due to the nature of their work, they have a different level of relationship compared to a normal job
DFDS seems like a genuinely good and caring company. I work for a german shipping company from Hamburg and I sometimes wonder why so few people realize that ocean vessels make up more than 90% of worldwide cargo movements. The industry is so vital for our lives and yet such a small amount of people know it and respect the people working for these companies
@@mathis330 per kilogram of cargo, cargo ships have the lowest emission of all modes of transport. Ofc it doesn't help that we're shipping near everything around the whole globe instead of producing locally. I once worked on the port side of shipping, it's crazy how unknown this industry is, given how big and important it is.
@@NeweyAdrian1 you’re not wrong. But there are very few companies willing to do this im guessing. They’re too worried about liability and insurance and all that. This is cheap, effective promotion. Of course i thank yes theory, but DFDS is the real star of this episode.
Repent and follow Jesus my friend! Repenting doesn't mean confessing your sins to others, but to stop doing them altogether. Belief in Messiah alone is not enough to get you into heaven - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36). Contemplate how the Roman empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years to accomplish the religion of the Israelites C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate though because you can start a relationship with God and have proof. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life. - Revelation 3:20 Revelation has been unfolding since Jesus died. The Popes have claimed to be equal to God and set themselves in Jesus' place (antichrist(s)). Vatican City (Which is its own nation BTW) have risen up to fulfill the role of the false prophet Regarding the man of lawlessness or antichrist, 2 Thessalonians 2:4 says “Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” The restrainer that the Apostle Paul was referring to in 2 Thessalonians was the Western Roman Emperor, who held back the Popes from taking power. Once the last Western Roman Emperor was removed from power in 476 AD, the Pope was given civil and ecclesiastic authority over Rome; healing the deadly head wound of the beast in Revelation 13, as they took the Emperors title of Pontifex Maximus, leader of the church and state. “We may according to the fullness of our power, dispose of the law and dispense above the law. Those whom the Pope of Rome doth separate, it is not a man that separates them but God. For the Pope holdeth place on earth, not simply of a man but of the true God.” (Source: “Decretals of Gregory IX,” Book 1, chapter 3.) Pope Pius V blasphemed, “The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth.” (Source: Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Cities Petrus Bertanous Chapter XXVII: 218.) Pope Leo XIII declared, “We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty.” (Source: Pope Leo XIII Encyclical Letter, June 20, 1894) The antichrist sea beast of Revelation points to the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, who controlled the Roman beast for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD. Daniel 7:25 says “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” The Popes of Rome spoke against Elohim and proclaimed to be God. They reigned for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD. during which they caused tens of millions of saints to be killed. The Pope’s title is Vicar of Christ, which in Latin is ‘Vicarius Filii Dei’, and equates numerically to the number 666
DFDS is great. They upgraded our ferry ride from Copenhagen to Oslo and back for free and were so friendly. Never thought I'd have so many great experiences with a shipping company
The captain crew were amazing and shows how much they loved their job I bet the captain had a time of his life getting to show people what it's like to do cargo shipping. you can tell he was really passionate about talking to them sense nothing is better than having a job you love and share with others.
As a Turkish guy who have been watching yes theory for years now , Im really happy that you guys decided to take this wild journey and ended up with Turkish crew. Seeing you guys having a good time with our friendly people warmed my heart ^^ Huge thanks to the amazing ship crew and DFDS for making this possible...
Bro he was so SWEET I'm the end segment! That company seriously needs to take care of that guy, he makes that job so much more enjoyable for everyone around him
@biuor su They are probably going to do that since they did request a copy of the b-roll (and by extension, the license to use it). Compared to what it cost to have these two onboard + the food and the tshirts they got, it's like they paid pennies for the footage. Let me put it this way: Good b-roll footage (requiring a good drone user + editing) could easily cost you 1000 USD straight off the bat. What it cost to host these two people could be as little as 100 dollars, meaning you saved 90% on the cost. Sure, it helps that DFDS was very generous and cool overall, but don't mistake it for a charity, what they gained was worth waaaaaay more than the cost. We must also consider the PR aspect of it as they knew this would be posted on youtube. We can now easily upgrade the potentional cost to 10000 USD, while it still only cost them 100 USD or so. You see where this is going?
I was impressed with the friendliness of all of DFDS people from the office staff through to the crew on the container vessel and it was all reflected on how professional they are. Compliments to them all.
I always appreciate when these types of shows let people that do not speak English just speak their native language without some voice over, just subtitles. I feel like more and more channels are doing that, and it is amazing.
"Let" people? What a weird thing to say. No one is going to be offended if their voice gets covered with an english voiceover. If I don't speak your language, why should I care about hearing it just for some weird ephemeral "cultural" value? It's always a problem when america does something but not for anyone else. Hypocritical bum
This was INSANE! I smiled with yall this whole video! Also DFDS is so smart to let you do this lol....talk about free commercial with al that b-roll haha
This was so human and heartwarming. I would have loved to hear a bit more about what their day to day can look like, what tasks they have to do, what an average voyage can look like and how long it can be, how they deal with weather and issues, how they ended up in these jobs...
People ride on cargo ships all the time. Literally thousands of civilians every year do this. They were paid by this company to film this and it's so obvious.
it baffles me how amazed you are to do this bc some companies literally have a section on their website discribing how you can tag along and some even have special bedrooms for you. and there are companies who will even organise a cargo travel for you, at least I know a few german ones. still love the video but I thought people knew about this method of traveling 😅
It used to be even more common. Back in the 70s I knew many people who went from New York to Europe on Greek cargo ships. They ended up making friends with the crew and had great stories about their experiences.
For free, on a route of their choice and less than a day in advance? I'm sure they did some research before doing this and found out that they could pay for this trip but the point was for them to hitchhike for free without booking in advance.. Thats the amazing part!
My father was a korean sailor but when he had my brother and then me, he couldnt bear being away from his newborns so he gave up his dreams of being a captain of his own ship to be there for us. Respect to these men and women who help the world run. These men seem so wholesome and kind
As a young person who's father works on a rig in the North Sea, I can relate to the feeling of separation families have when a loved one goes away to work at sea, especially when you know the risks and it's for an extended period. It can be hard. But knowing that they have loving friends and that you can call helps with the sadness. It can sometimes be beautiful too, because you look forward even more to the precious time they spend with you at home, something that - unless taken away for whatever reason - is never appreciated as much as you imagine. I love his job, and i hate it at the same time.
As a turkish, I'm so proud of seeing my fellow citizens. They have shown all the kindness and hospitality to Yes theory. They both deserve so much respect for demonstrating us something that is not really known.
The thought of hitchhiking (NOT HIJACKING!) a cargo ship never even crossed my mind...thank you for living the adventures most of us wouldn't even think about and sharing them with us.
There's no shame in second place, you'll be right up there alongside number one. Basically just trying to say: you didn't think of it, sure, but now you have, and it'd be an honor to Yes Theory that you put yourself out there and gave it a shot if it seemed inspiring to you. It's what this channel is all about, my good sir
I've never thought about it that way, but knowing that you might never meet someone again, but getting to know them and hanging every day is just like camping festivals. You meet so many people, and it's so bittersweet when it's over. You miss your own bed, you're tired perhaps, but you don't really wanna leave.
That ship is next level huge, not only that, but its not even close to the bigger ones. The ENTIRE crew are so amazing, the captain is the start of the show for me.
Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose from the dead, and gives salvation to everyone who has faith in him. True faith in Jesus will have you bear good fruit and *drastically* change for the better! Those led by the Holy Spirit do not abide in wickedness. God is three in one; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! Bless him! As I am led by the Holy Spirit, nothing I state is a lie, but the truth of God. Anyone who tells you differently is misinformed or a liar. They do not know God, nor led by him. Anyone who *claims* to be a Christian and is against what I am doing, and where I am doing it; the Holy Spirit does not dwell within them, they lack understanding. They know not God, read his word, and their religion is in vain. Do not hear them, they will mislead you, the lost cannot guide the lost.
When you trust in God and cast your cares (worries, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts) upon him, they will be NO MORE! Know that there is power in the name Jesus Christ! His name casts out demons and heals! The world is wicked, evil, and of the devil. I too, was a wicked sinner of the world before I opened my heart to God. I am living proof of God's work and fruitfulness! He is an active God who hears the prayers of his! God's children are set apart (holy) and righteous. The devil is a liar that comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy; that includes your relationship with God.
@@noneofurbussiness5245 From your message, it sounds like you're talking about something that was not stated in my messages. What are you assuming to be correct in your mind, that is contrary to what I say?
It all starts at the top. A good Captain makes life easier at sea. This Captain seems like a very nice person...thanks to him for allowing Yes Theory to come onboard!
This is extremely wholesome... Especially the one-on-ones at the end there. It's really cool having all of that time and those amenities to about 40 people on a cargo ship of all things, but there is so much that you wouldn't know if you weren't in their shoes. I'm about to get out of the military in about 6 months time, and in my 4 years in, I've seen seven different countries overseas. I am extremely thankful to have seen what I've gotten to see, but there was so much going on behind the scenes that no one else will ever know about.
Mad respect for the captain. Hats off. Such a sweet soul. Respect for the awesome cool crews as well. What an experience. Still there are good people left. And that's the hope!
DFDS is awesome for allowing these journalists to show us behind the scenes of how our goods are transported. This was a great episode guys. Dang man, that captain and crew are incredible people. So friendly and welcoming…

This could so easily have been a ‘huh, that’s cool I guess’ video, instead it was 23 minutes of pure uplifting joy. What an inspiring attitude you guys have. Bravo 👏
These are the people who keep the world moving, the ones that keep food on your table, the ones that spend weeks away from their families so you can go to the store and buy anything you want at any time. These men and women, and truck drivers are all the most integral part of our world.
It’s cool because I’m watching this from the ship I work on in the Gulf of Mexico! Glad you guys could see the adventure that is a life at sea! Props to DFDS because most companies would never let someone on their ships that doesn’t work there. Very tight security and safety rules. BTW… I’d kill to have a captain like him. He’s a great guy and a great leader for his crew! Things like that make spending half the year on a ship a lot better
are you on a crew ship? i used to leave out of port fourchon to my oil rig and remember being on a crew ship in rough seas. Our electrician puked his breakfast one morning haha.
It used to be that you could actually book a trip on a cargo ship (usually one way). They would advertise in the back of certain magazines. This was a looong time ago but I had a friend (old man Johnny) who did it many times as a cheaper way to go explore. I wonder if it’s NOT a thing anymore due to the world we I’ve in. So glad you guys did this. It’s amazing!
I always wondered how you guys end up meeting the most lively genuine human beings. I've come to realise its just Yes Theory who always spread positivity and also bring out the best out the people you encounter. Please do keep it up and I hope to stumble upon you once in my life.
Most of the people are nice. The internet and media portrays bad people (dumb / lonely / angry / antisocial) and it affects you. More than 90% of humanity is nice and kind. That's why I ignore the tabloid media, facebook, twitter, reddit and most of the online platforms. They just distort the world in front of you and make you believe that's the reality. But it's not.
I love that DFDS can see the value in being involved in this project! Open mindedness is a big part of being a winning contemporary business. All the luck to them and the Yes Theory crew fo making the video happen! Adventure :YES!!!
3:07 there are devices that can block other devices from recording sounds. These devices are called audio jammers or speech privacy systems, and they work by emitting a random noise that disrupts the audio recording process.
This was unexpectedly incredibly wholesome, Capitan and the rest of the crew seemed so amazing. Love this type of content where you can see into the lives of people that do the job that has to be done. Very sweet
Hey yes theory, my father is a merchant marine engineer sailing American flagged cargo ships. Recently he unfortunately had a hellish trip on the APL president Wilson in a Shanghai shipyard where he was essentially held hostage for 5 months during the Covid shutdown in February. He was unable to set foot on land during the full shutdown and where only allowed bare bones rations from the Chinese government. One of the deckmates documented this full experience as a way to cope and fill her time if you are interested at all you can check them out at (restricted to ship ep.1 -Shanghai lockdown by m. Leine productions ) it’s a 5 episode series about a half hour each. Documenting the living situations and difficulties that the whole crew experienced. I hope that you consider watching it. I found it to be an almost therapeutic way for me to connect to my father when there was no real way to communicate with him.
In other words the government created the terror and the fear, just like they did everywhere. They treated us worse than what we could get from a virus that was created by them eventually as well. What a sad world.
I was on a US flagged ship in Shanghai last year too in the shipyard. We couldn't get off the ship too but we were there for a much shorter time, i think it was only 2 or 3 months. and we made the best of it tho, captain ordered booze for every one and some times ordered food outside
This is the industry I live and breath for 20 years. So much is unknown about shipping in the general public and how people get their everyday items sometimes is taken for granted. I am so happy you were able to show this! I know many whom sacrifice time with their family and loved ones to make sure that the world gets all their everyday items. Cherish what you have and be humble.
My goodness! This was so heartwarming! The crew probably wanted to meet new people on their travels at sea, just like you coming upon people yourselves. It seemed like you all had a blast! I have a phobia of large expanses of water, so rather you than me 😀 I hope your paths cross again!
DFDS you people deserve Medallions for your hospitality and friendship. It truly was amazing even just watching this experience. As they say A smile brings HAPPINESS. Tons of respect from South African Boer.
This video proves just how nice you guys really are. Not only do you get a free ride on the ship, but the captain is actually sad when you have to leave. You've got to be a special kind of person to have that effect in such a short time. You really are wonderful, and it shows, keep on being you!! :D
Just in the middle of the show and I have not stopped smiling I can tell you are both having such a great time. The people onboard are so much fun also the company is amazing for letting you do this trip. I wonder if they regret it as just like I’m thinking wow that looks so great 😂 they must have lots of people asking if they can do the same. Great people and a good time has kept me smiling non stop thank you.
DFDS is my new, all time, favorite company after watching this. This has to be my favorite video I've seen you make so far. You're both hilarious and this is the epitome of just saying yes to the most random things. I love what you said; People don't go and have because they don't try or ask. I guess it’s true what they say, it never hurts to ask. So as not to gush too much, that was a terrific story and a testament to the kindness of people. Thank you for restoring my faith in humanity. On a side note, it's also important to remember how much these crews sacrifice to bring us the goods we consume every day. We should be so grateful to them for their sacrifices.
If you ever happen to be in Copenhagen or Oslo for a few days, definitely try out their ferries. They are affordable and you're going to have a great time on there and will be able to see two countries in a few days. DFDS has become by all time favourite shipping company especially after this video

- Revelation 3:20
Revelation has been unfolding since Jesus died. The Popes have claimed to be equal to God and set themselves in Jesus' place (antichrist(s)). Vatican City (Which is its own nation BTW) have risen up to fulfill the role of the false prophet
Regarding the man of lawlessness or antichrist, 2 Thessalonians 2:4 says “Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” The restrainer that the Apostle Paul was referring to in 2 Thessalonians was the Western Roman Emperor, who held back the Popes from taking power.
For the Pope holdeth place on earth, not simply of a man but of the true God.” (Source: “Decretals of Gregory IX,” Book 1, chapter 3.)
Pope Pius V blasphemed, “The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth.” (Source: Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Cities Petrus Bertanous Chapter XXVII: 218.)
Pope Leo XIII declared, “We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty.” (Source: Pope Leo XIII Encyclical Letter, June 20, 1894)
The antichrist sea beast of Revelation points to the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, who controlled the Roman beast for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD.
It's basically a win-win situation, they get to do this, DFDS got a free promotion of their company

Fantastic. This is how companies should be ran. Not penny pinching to the misery of the employees. We are all humans!!
What it cost

It used to be even more common. Back in the 70s I knew many people who went from New York to Europe on Greek cargo ships. They ended up making friends with the crew and had great stories about their experiences.

The legend says that Yes Theory were on the Ship that blocked Suez Canal.🙃

He was choosen for a reason... still awsome episode !
Most firms outright forbid passengers, mainly for security reasons. Not a matter of being uptight.
I am extremely thankful to have seen what I've gotten to see, but there was so much going on behind the scenes that no one else will ever know about.
hahah right after a wholesome serious comment the first thing i see is "HOW STRONG IS WATERMELON???!!!!"

Props to the crew of this ship, kindhearted and strong-hearted for being able to share all this with a smile on their face.
Jesus Christ loves you!

This could so easily have been a ‘huh, that’s cool I guess’ video, instead it was 23 minutes of pure uplifting joy. What an inspiring attitude you guys have. Bravo 👏
DFDS is the MVP for helping to make this happen. Shout out to companies like them allowing the world to be such a cool place!
These are the people who keep the world moving, the ones that keep food on your table, the ones that spend weeks away from their families so you can go to the store and buy anything you want at any time. These men and women, and truck drivers are all the most integral part of our world.
s/o farmers too!
The captain really fits with Yes Theory for some reason, such positive vibes🙏
Such a win win situation for both parties. Great PR for DFDS by allowing this, and such an amazing experience to be allowed on a civilian.
Things like that make spending half the year on a ship a lot better
bro u have some good internet on board. I could barely send an email with the crap wifi we had.
@@RepoEdits we just got AT&T signal boosters installed onboard!
are you on a crew ship? i used to leave out of port fourchon to my oil rig and remember being on a crew ship in rough seas. Our electrician puked his breakfast one morning haha.
Sounds like a great place to work.
@@leafjerky no I work on a drillship

It’s so bizarre to me that the security seems so relaxed at these big ports, like these guys just walked in lmao
you van go nearly anywhere if you look confident lol
Yeah, haven't they heard of Trevor Philips??
Well you can walk in, but thats probably about it :D the security spotted them miles away.
@@rexyrox8645 Not even that, just ask.
Its more complicated that it seems in the video, in real life
I love that DFDS can see the value in being involved in this project! Open mindedness is a big part of being a winning contemporary business. All the luck to them and the Yes Theory crew fo making the video happen! Adventure :YES!!!
I want more of this now. This whole crew was amazing, the company amazing.
3:07 there are devices that can block other devices from recording sounds. These devices are called audio jammers or speech privacy systems, and they work by emitting a random noise that disrupts the audio recording process.
What’s the purpose of it in this case?
@@duk2kprobably a security feature if sensitive cargo or ship operations is being discussed.
I found it to be an almost therapeutic way for me to connect to my father when there was no real way to communicate with him.
im so sorry you had to go through that. also sorry for the experience your father and his crew went through. i def wanna watch this
Wow
In other words the government created the terror and the fear, just like they did everywhere. They treated us worse than what we could get from a virus that was created by them eventually as well. What a sad world.
Wow! I'm so sorry that your dad, his crew mates, and your families went through all of that.
I'm a sailor but not from DFDS. But, I did travel with them. DFDS is professional and this video showed it.

They are probably happy just to see new faces, if they are stuck on the ship for so many consecutive months.
But Agreed
Just in the middle of the show and I have not stopped smiling I can tell you are both having such a great time. The people onboard are so much fun also the company is amazing for letting you do this trip. I wonder if they regret it as just like I’m thinking wow that looks so great 😂 they must have lots of people asking if they can do the same. Great people and a good time has kept me smiling non stop thank you.
It’s so crazy that in just 20 minutes you’re able to make me feel so connected to these people, but it feels like I’ve known them a lifetime
you guys HAVE to visit the captain when hes home. hes such a genuine guy
That's the exact same thought I had - what a great follow through that would be.....
So you just believe anything and not that this was preplanned
@@freedomisfromtruth Even if it was. Its still cool they let them do it
