- The road from Jericho to Jerusalem explained using aerial video and photographs. Hiking the Jericho Road. *There is a mistake in the narration. At 6:00 minute, the statement “the modern highway starts up, out of the Og Canyon…”, is incorrect. The video clip shown there is from lower down the road (east) before the modern highway arrives to the "Adummim crest". The video clip starting at 6:44 is the modern highway coming out of the Og Canyon, as stated.

A super video of the messiah's last climb [8 hrs] to Bethany before going to Jerusalem the next day. Not something done on the 7th day sabbath. Knowing the time [9hrs] it took you all to finish the trek is truly edifying. Thanks so much for putting it all together.
Thank you so much for these great videos! What a blessing!
The LORD bless and guard you and your families many happy years to come!
HalleluYAH!
The LORD bless and guard Israel many happy years to come! Come, LORD Yeshua, come!

Wow it’s good to see the places in the Bible and have an idea of where and what they look like❤️👍
That looks like quite a hike God bless you guys for making it . And then letting us all watch your adventure. Thank you
just got back home exactly 2 weeks ago, from visiting jordan for 3 days: went to petra, jordan river, mount nebo, in jordan. then on to israel: to nazareth, jerusalem, galilee, bethlehem, dead sea, mount of olives, etc. jericho, the oldest city in the world, stopped there in bethany at a church nearby where lazarus story in the bible took place. really awesome experience to travel over there, in jordan and israeL, a must!
Very grateful for your efforts in Satellite Bible Atlas. The quality of your presentation is striking. I hope you draw a subsidy from one of the billionaires; you deserve it for this beautiful work. Learning so much from your presentation.
Thanks. But I must say, I got a kick out of your comment since your last name is Rothschild! :) Blessings.

This is very helpful! Thanks, Bill!
Thanks, this is really instructive and wonderfully put together. Keep up the good work!
Beautiful information, this road from Jerusalem to Jericho was Nick named as the way of blood and in Jesus time a lot of people called it the Blood pass because of the Blood which was often shed there by robbers due to its Rocks and other reasons which attracted thieves.
BEAUTIFUL!!!
i love this video!!!
Amazing 🔥🔥
Awesome! Thank you for the detailed explanation.
So Cool!! You guys go!!
Go Titans! But in all seriousness that was quite a profound statement when that young man said after they were down with their trek that "Jesus did some work to come to die." I had never really thought about it that way.
Thank you!
Very interesting.

Geographically teaching Holy bible..really awesome
Indeed - it gives a different perspective

dont be stupid .God bless the heaven & earth .Dont teach God to be selfish ......cheers
Great video but I find the music very irritating and distracting
I agree!
Did you have to get permission in order to fly your drone in those areas? Do you know what the current attitude is towards drones in Israel? Any information would be appreciated.
Robbie, My guess is that flying a drone in Israel is a lot like flying one in other places, with some exceptions. Some National Parks here don't like you taking off from their territory. In populated areas, especially Jerusalem, there may be security issues, so the police won't be thrilled. If one is out in the country side, away from military or airports, it is fine.
Thanks Bill this is so nice don't entrap go for it.
Such a nice film but why that annoying background beat?
I like it

Cool! Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ actually walked this earth He created... cool! 😄
Yahushua is not God the father.
@@zman9315 Yet in Jesus the fullness of the Godhead dwelt bodily so with the rest of the New Testament writers, we call Him Lord and Savior, Jesus, Messiah.
I was on a hike between Jerusalem and Jericho. I met a Bedouin woman living in a cave. She was looking for an American husband to take her to America.
Twin pillars of grace and mercy extended by YHWH to man through his only begotten Son Yeshua, THE Messiah!
I love my Christ he bring life to those followed God commandments.
man I wish and pray I had money so I can visit home jerusalem
So one was really ascending to Jerusalem.

First things first:
I enjoys all of these video and had great benefits from them.
HOWEVER......
What IDIOT have taught you that stupid cheering from time to time does anything for the quality?
Plain talk works fine - it is my suggestion that you use it !!
Fine that you had a great time - but sitting in one's living room not a part of just turns your cheering into noise.
You know these videos would be a lot better without all self indulges howling
We as Jews are forbidden to say the name of your idol. He has absolutely nothing to do with Holiness...and nothing to do with the Land of Israel.. Time for you people to wake up.
I think I understand what you are saying and why you say or think so. Christians have been declaring since the late 4th century that G_d is somehow three in one, and that Jesus is literally "G_d". Such declarations are idolatrous, and are misrepresentations of both the Tanach and New Testament. The New Testament declares unequivocally, many times, that Jesus was a human. The New Testament declares that Jesus was put to death by the political-religious establishment, but was raised from the dead by the only G_d, who is called "our Father".
@@billschlegel1 The New Testament says that Jesus is both man and God. See John 20:28, Titus 2:13 and 2 Peter 1:1. Even the Old Testament says that the Messiah would be God, for example in Isaiah 9:6 and Micah 5:2
@@masterspark9880 Hi, see for instance, this article on John 20:28. landandbible.blogspot.com/2019/12/my-lord-and-my-god-trinitarians-get-it.html
There was only one Jericho. This "two districts" thing is an apologetic convention contrived to explain away a contradiction in the Gospels. It's just a contradiction. One of many. The Gospels are not "careful reporting." Also, the Good Samaritan is a parable., There was no actual inn.
the Gospels are not history and it does a disservice to people to lie to them so blatantly and tell them that it is. This video is a con job.
The Hasmoneans and Herodians built up a different district at the mouth of the Wadi Kelt, about 1.5 miles from the main Jericho spring (and town). The new district brought water by aqueduct from springs in the Wadi.
The Good Samaritan event could be a parable. If so, the real terrain between Jerusalem and Jericho is the exact setting of the parable. The author new the geography and terrain well.
In the end, you may be surprised how historically and geographically accurate the Gospels, and Bible in general, are.
There was only one city of Jericho. It can only be left once. All cities have residential and business areas. This is an apologetic designed to sew up two different versions of a story into one.. There is no point. There is much,, much worse.. The Gospels are riddled with historical errors, contradictions and demonstrable fiction. I have studied the Bible for decades, formally and informally and in Greek
The Gospels were written at least 40-70 years after the life of Jesus (Mark is dated in the 70's C.E. Matthew in the 80's, Luke in the 90's and John afterc100.
None of them were written by witnesses, none of the were written by anyone who knew witnesses. They were all written outside of Palestine after the destructionof Jerusalem. Some of them know the geography, some of them don't. Mark botches his geography badly. John seems to know it pretty good, but males other anachronistic errors that show it had to have been written 8n the early 2nd Century.
