Through the Tissue Chip for Drug Screening program - a collaboration among the National Institutes of Health, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Food and Drug Administration and researchers nationwide - the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences is supporting research on bioengineered devices that mimic the function of human organs.
