Chicken looks yummy! I dip my chicken in room temp water mixed with hot pepper sauce. It makes it spicy with a flakey texture.

The amount of cayenne used in the Jamaican style is for flavor. It doesn't make the chicken hot or spicy

I made the Jamaican style using 6 wings. I used a Jamaican chicken seasoning for 3 of the wings and Chef Merito chicken seasoning on the other 3 wings just to compare the difference. I also flavored my oil with onion slices and garlic cloves. Added a couple tablespoons to 2 eggs. Both versions fried up a very pretty brown just like the wings in the video. Loved the way they both tasted. It didn't dawn on me u til after supper that I didn't use any salt. Will definitely be making this again and again

👋 miss Rowen. Blessings!! I have enjoyed watching all your recipes with joy. I too love to cook but have been ill but getting stronger in rehab - hopefully I will be able to go home by the end of this may 2023. I would love very much if you make a few more breads and muffins. My preference is whole wheat, bran, oats and cornmeal or split peas breads/muffins. Continue being beautiful, strong and ccoking!!!!! From a jamaican living in american with great health and blessed prosperity and friends. Barbara D.

We in the Caribbean wash our chicken/meat and we clean up very properly afterwards.
