Hundreds head to Hobbs church to witness ‘crying’ Our Lady of Guadalupe statue

Back around 1986 or 87 when I started to come back to my Catholic faith, I would visit a very old Church. It had a beautiful statue of Our Lady. I would go there many times during a break just to pray to Mary. One day I stood in front of the Statue and started praying. The statue was protected by a sort of dividing rope and to approach the Statue one would have to go behind the old railing and step that was originally built when people used to receive communion by kneeling down on the step.
As I was praying, I notice something I've never seen before. There appeared to be bright tears flowing down from her left eye. The entire church was empty, I was the only one there. I kept staring at Mary's face wanting to get closer, but reluctant to go behind the "barricade". At first, I thought it was a reflection. I looked at the windows to see if the light was casting in such a way as to make her face reflect light. But I could not be certain. But the more I looked, the more I believed I was looking at tears.
Finally, I built up enough nerve to decide to approach the statue and get a real close look. Just as I was about to take the first step, a priest or a church worker opened a door from the back of the church and walked in. I immediately got cold feet and discontinued. To this day I believe I was observing tears. I wish I had more nerve to get a closer look, however, It's my feeling that the timing of the priest was meant as a signal for me to remain where I was standing.
I wasn't sure If the tears were meant for me or for the world. I always took it personally that they were meant for me. When I think about that moment I still get the chills.

i used to know a priest,that would sometimes start crying for no reason and it always meant something bad was fixing to happen in the world.

After reading some of these comments, I can see why Our Lady is crying. And btw, no one is "worshipping" statues of Mary or saints. We honor her as the mother of Christ, and as our spiritual mother we ask her to pray for us and help us. Worship and adoration is for God alone.

meli sol the images those passages you qouted spoke about the images there where being worshipped as God just like most ancient Egyptian statues and such. Yes these are man made statues here in this video but far from thinking they are God us Catholics use them to teach about him. i remeber as a child my mom took us to a small church where they had a similar statue they had placed roses on the statue and the petals began to fall of the stem then the statue began to cry blood i was too young to comprehend but i knew the fear that came over that room was not normal , i remeber the nuns falling to thier feet , ill never forget that day im not religious or anything but even as child that day i knew i would never forget that day

Oh my gosh she started weeping again today September 1st 2018. I saw it with my own eyes! It is a miracle! Please go there if you can and pray to our blessed mother! There was a real presence there! My wife and I went there for a pilgrimage and we went to pray Thursday/Friday. Saturday we decided to hit the road back to dallas, 6 hrs ride. My wife wanted to stay a little longer at the hotel to watch the John McCain funeral but something kept pushing me and I said to her let’s go and make a short prayer with our lady before hitting the road. Lo and behold we walked in there about 8am and one of the ladies who worked in the office said to me ‘I have a surprise for you, she’s weeping again!’ Within minutes, the place started filling up. It was so moving, there was this elderly priest who walked in and just slumped in one of the pews and started weeping. Man even a croc would cry in there today. The miracle to me was it felt so different, so at home! A feeling of awe! Great things truly happen when God mixes with man! So all those still waiting for Science to tell them the truth, keep waiting. As for me and my household, we are in the presence of Truth.

Before Vatican II this would have been investigated by the Vatican, but after Vatican II went into effect the Church changed so many thing's like the Mass, the proper procedures for canonizations, the beautiful prayers were shortened and some were changed, and investgating to see if statues crying and other religious thing's are true miracles or if there's a darker side to what's happening.
I was never religious or spiritual until I briefly died, left my body, watched the EMTs take care of me. I realize I'm out of my body and feel this amazing freedom until I'm shot to this sky. I'm in this beautiful place, communicating with something. I can't even say what it said. The words and the meaning was so elegantly spoken and communicated I can't even recreate it. I known what message it grave me but I'd need 1000 words to even describe the message. These holy people have came here to teach us something but most of it is lost in translation. When Christ said " the only way through heaven was through him" he didn't mean worship him. He meant it as becoming like him. Putting you fellow man before yourself, respecting your fellow man, loving all of gods creations etc. I wouldn't call myself a member of any of the world religious because they're all tainted. I trust in Christ because he's the holy teacher I gravitate towards. But for the people who don't. Ask yourselves if you think the Muslim who lives his life actually putting the lost teachings of Christ into action is going to hell. It doesn't matter the person he or she is, or the growing they've done. The bible is a tool for control. If its the word of god why are we taking stuff out and adding stuff in? People hide behind this false image and this cycle of sinning and forgiveness like it doesn't matter what they do or have done cause they've been forgiven. Hell isn't even real to most. Its real if your higher being / " god " / etc feels like there's something and be gained from it. Its like We're the cells in the body that make up god. Were are all god children and we have a piece of him with us. The church says you need to look externally to find god but that part of an agenda. We live under an illusion. The world is controlled by a small number of people who's energy has been so distorted by this experience " for many incarnations ". They thrive off of control, power, hidden knowledge. They have us tricked and manipulated into thinking this is our doing. Religion is one of their major tools for influence. People gravitate toward these relations because we all have this yearning and this gut feeling for more. Deep down even the atheist knows " this isn't it " or "something isn't right ". There logic says that were dust in the wind but even then there's that 2% of them thinks. Its not impossible. We're are living in the matrix. A matrix of consciousness. If you seek answers deep in yourself cause tat where the are. Were were all so broken and its a result of this system. The needlessly suffering. We have the means, the motives, the technology to more change. Change can't be made when these people stand to lose everything from said changes. I know most people probably can't believe this and I get that because its hard without first hand proof. But ive been here before. I remember two past lives. One of which I was a Flagilist. The Flagilist were an extreme sect of Christ followers who voluntary put themselves through what Christ went through as a way of honoring him. I died say to myself " wow I fucked up, this isnt right ". Before I felt that overwhelming peace that overcomes you when you did. Idk why we come here but with all of my being I know the bible has been messed with. The powers that be left in just enough of Christ's real work for people to still gravitate towards it. They fear monger with it. The word of god is lost in the man, not that book. People read that book and use it to justify hate. It justifies beating you wife, owning slaves and sin is sin so whether torturing your slave OE wearing mixed linen fabric its all the same to " your god " religions are a hurdle to overcome. Christ ended prayers with "A Man ", he didn't want to be worshiped. Christ " died and came bake to life ". Its a metaphor for having a near death experience. I'm not saying he wasn't special. He was definitely special but as with all religions things got misconstrued. Every single religion has a piece of the puzzle. But everything else that comes out of them makes them more of a hurdle to overcome. The way they divide the people, the waring, the hate that comes out of them. They're a tool that keeps the evil energies in powers entertained. The powers that be are frail. Like a really muscular guy who walks over with a hug ego to cover up the fact he feels weak inside. They're not what some of these " conspiracy theories make them out to be. That's fear mongering. It also to discredit whats really going on. I pray everyday that we all wake up. Since my spiritual awakening I've found 7 our lady of Guadalupe necklaces. I feel like I'm fighting a war that most people can't see. We are the cells in the body that make up god. Separation is an illusion. Were a little piece of the same energy that started the big bang. I don't know why we come here. Maybe we're sick and this is part of the healing process. Maybe we just wanna forget we know and are everything. Sincerely love you all. I cry everyday at the state of the world because its so fixable, everybody wants to fix but we are all scared of change. Under this system we can't even work together. We need your help now god. All of our deceased ancestors are either back into the oneness or here again. Were made up of the same star dust that makes up the entire universe and we were directly connected through it. We see all our loved ones again. Its like one big party of everybody reminiscing on how crazy this experience is. It can be hard, it can be ugly from this perspective. All we got is each other down here and were more divided then every. They sy its gotta get worse before it gets better. I think were at that worst. Christ is coming back but it's not back the flesh literally. Its his energy, his mentality coming back. There will be many Christ like figures in the future, people we can touch see. We shouldn't worship them, we should strive to become like them. It can be hard at times in this day an age. But spread love please. To say I love you all isn't even enough.

Bruce, I'm sure there are many reason but I think since Our Lady of Guadalupe was sent specifically for the Mexican people, she is crying for the 800,000 dreamers who are undocumented which this administration is saying will be deported. These were children brought here as babies because their parents wanted to save their lives from the violence in Mexico. They have known no other home. They were protected under DACA by President Obama and Trump ended it, it was intended to bridge the time needed extended to pass a comprehensive immigration reform act allowing them a permanent path to become citizens. The Mexican drug trade was created by the U.S. and the violence in Mexico is the reality because we armed the cartels. So if you want Mexican people to stay in Mexico we need to make it safe for the children to grow up there. How about we stop making it so easy for them to buy military style weapons and ammo ? Straw men go to the gun shows and buy all the guns they want for the cartels and this is big business for the NRA. Thank you! 🙏🏼 I know. I was catholic and stopped the silly Mariology superstitions too. I think a big part of this comes from longing of a female deity or divine lady to worship I guess. But traditional Christianity definitely does not like any idea of more than one God. Even though many people believe in trinity concept, the Godhead as actually stated in the bible says nothing of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost being one and the same God. But anyways so happy to remember I'm not the only one that knows that it's Jesus Christ. Not Mary or any other saint Christ.

Its a statue only. Turning it into a being or giving it human qualities is Idolatry and strictly forbidden in God's word.

I agree when you say that it come straight from the bible but this was a greeting to mary when she was alive but catholics make a prayer with the greeting. Mary is dead, wait for resurrection day to greet her because the bible says that we must not speak to the dead. p.s I love mary too but i must be reasonable.
