I've been HIV Positive for almost 15 years now. I've been on meds since 09. I now test undetectable. HIV/AIDS is no longer a death sentence. Many of my friends died in the 80's of AIDS. Too bad they didn't have the outstanding care that I've received.

@@briandelagrange8722 I was infected on November 18 2020. I blame myself for being infected because if I had went to the hospital and got check out I would be negative today. I was stab in my back on a bus that day in Brooklyn NY. The guy sitting behind me infected me

You can live to old age but that doesn't mean that HIV is not still a serious chronic illness that will impact your daily quality of life. God forbid we had a major breakdown of our supply lines in the country so that patients could not access their meds it would be just like in the 80s again in that scenario.

My brother died of AIDS complications in 2011. It’s far from over. Yes, meds are great …but there are those who still will die of complications. Stigma is also a killer.

@@yuliansuke1367 they do, if you are adherent to daily use. He already had less than 200 T-cells when he very first found out he had the disease (meaning he already had AIDS… not HIV anymore). He started meds and took them for several years and, as a result, developed kidney malfunction. He was on dialysis and had a poor quality of life… so he gave up.

Being fat tells fat people to get outside exercise more and eat less. I got a little fat but I can still run 16.7mph and run a mile in 11 minutes. If I loss some weight I'd probably run somewhere above that.
