You are making great progress! You take great care of your animals and make sure they have sturdy homes to live in that will last the test of time.
Thanks Nanci it has also been a great learning experience😁
How wonderful to have this big beautiful land to learn, explore and get creative! Its so nice to watch you working. 😍😍
Thank you so much for supporting us Catia and helping us do all this😀
A heartfelt salute to your diligence, my friend! Your videos are a product of the hard work and effort you consistently put into your craft. And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.
That would be great. We will take a look and swap stories😁
So beautiful down at the river. With the moss on the rocks it looks like a hobbit village 😊.
Hope you're both all healed up by now. Take care. 🥰♥️🤗

Hi Luke and Sarah, how i love and enjoy your video every week, i want to live just like you in a simple basic way, no luxery, just living of the land and swimm in that lovely natural swimming pool.Greetings from Holland
Thank you so much!!so nice to hear this xx
This is how you get on when you're feeling sick?? Well, as usual, i am VERRY impressed, amazed with, and proud of you!
Outstanding video, presentation of your newest Bluetti powering solutions, and film editing. Love your v handsome blue jumper, Luke, and your freshy fresh hair buzz. Sarah, Molly, and Timmy are busy begibd the scened and off cam a lot in this one 😉. 🥰
What a cliff hanger!! See ya next week 👍🏼
Thanks Ruth , Yes when sick i don't really feel sociable so that meant being much less on camera too❤️❤️
Your land is absolutely gorgeous and made more so by a loving couple. ❤
Thank you so much!
Hi guys! So glad you are doing well and recovering from the icky sick. I just wanted to give you some advise that we were given when we had water storage for our herd. We would put pieces of copper pipes and hang them in the water, we didn't know how it worked but it kept most algae at bay. Good luck. Stay warm and keep on posting progress.
Cool thanks Sandra we will see if we can find one and try it out❤️❤️
Your land is so green right now. ❤
It really is so beautiful
Hello Sarah!! 🤗& Luke!! 🤗You look like you're rebounding well from your flu 🐛lol espresso heals pretty much everything 😁You two are so resourceful and clever. Your video production has improved 💯 and it's such a joy to watch you take on so many projects. 🐷🐖cob-house should hold up for decades to come. Lucky piggies! Keep up the positivity and loving life!
Thanks so much Paisley ..so happy you think so❤️
It looks amazing! Piggy luxury. Have you guys considered diy-ing some sort of trailer for the e-bike? That would make transporting things around the farm easier and a fun projectl to watch 😊
Luke was thinking about converting one of our e bikes into an electric wheelbarrow😁
Love this idea 😊👍🏼
Lots of inspiration for such makeshift vehicles from you travels in Southeast Asia where multiple humans with shopping and livestock are ferried on 1 motorcycle!
You too !! the third couple I watch that have that dreaded flu thingy, In my condition I hope it doesn't come over here, intresting the cobbing process, take care you two, get well soon.
Thanks we are already better just a bit of a sore throat for me but Luke is 100 per cent well.❤️
@@lukeandsarahsoffgridlifeIt's the happy Luke and Sarah offgrid life, i tell ya! You guys just rebound with all the fresh air, real workouts, clean water, whole foods, Molly & Timmy love and shenanigans 😊.

Great vlog. You two are amazing, work , work, work, seems nothing gets in your way to achieve a good result. How great to find clay right next to the pig pen you've just built, it was meant to be. 💚
So true! It was meant to be there and already looks so beautiful even unfinished ❤️

Hi Luke and Sarah,
Sorry to hear you’ve both been ill, you could hear it in your voice Luke.
Really enjoyed the video, maggie and Pepas house looks great. A little pig palace for 2 pig princesses 😂 It’s amazing what you can do with your own resources. I did worry about your backs though,
As always super impressed, just joined patreon and bought my first bookmark, I plan to collect every one.
Well done guys, take care and stay safe ❤
Oh my goodness Mark❤️❤️ thank you so much for all this support ❤️❤️ and kind words we really appreciate it x x I will post your bookmark tomorrow xx
@@lukeandsarahsoffgridlife you’re most very welcome, wish I could do more. You bring me so much happiness with your videos❤️❤️ Whenever you get chance is fine, but thank you ❤️ looking forward to receiving it xx
You poor things, Luke you did look very tired . Take care of yourselves😊❤
Hope you both feel fully fit soon, take care x
Thank you Christine ❤️❤️
You do both sound like we have been. That flu is so miserable especially with all the phlegm on your chest. We know we really feel it when we are doing some exercise and how hard that video must have been to make after all your superhuman efforts with the bag filling. .Hope you are feeling better but we know we have had it for 3 weeks and it got worse so got Di on antibiotics. Take care and if you need anything we are 25 minutes away.
Sorry to hear that you were sick too. We are both much better thanks Pete. hope you two are on the mend too
God bless you Luke and Sara🙏🏼
🐕🦺🐈⬛🐈🦮🐷🐷🐷
Lamento saber que você também está doente. desejamos-lhe uma rápida recuperação ❤️❤️
Awesome effort guys.😊
Cheers Aaron 😀
Probably several weeks too late since there is always a delay between filming and posting a video, but I have worked with clay a few times (straw bale building of houses and offices), we usually give clay a week or more to hydrate properly and mix it twice a day, every day during that time. I think you will get a better result. However, for a pig house maybe it isn't so critical....
Also, if this isn't too late, I recommend shredding the straw so that it is quite fine - a couple of cm at most. Place a few of handfuls of 'normal' straw in your one tonne bags and strim it with a standard strimmer. Make sure it is evenly and well cut up - perfect for mixing with your clay & sand.
I look forward to seeing what you did!
Thanks so much for the tips x x
Neil, do you think Luke's selfmade wood chipper could do the trick to chop up the straw? If so, Sarah could run that while Luke's working other materials? Do protect your eyes, kids 🥽.
Great work as usual guys, soon be ready for a visitor?❤
Hope so.. we have a lot of rain on the way 😡😀
@@lukeandsarahsoffgridlife yeah all week😕
I think I have learned that, it is a lot of work to use earthbag building. In doubt if this is not to much work,, seams like Luke could throw something together in wood in a day or two.
I definitely could have knocked something up in a day and I didn't take this decision lightly before we started. We are going to (hopefully) end up with a pretty cool pig house and more importantly the experience and knowledge we are gaining is invaluable. Will come in handy when we hopefully build something bigger and more elaborate in the future.😉😉
@@lukeandsarahsoffgridlifeI can definitely see that your skills and mastery are growing at pace with your Hulk muscles!
0k❤
You have dug up the clay rich B horizon of the soil.
put cow manuier in adobe like in africa to isolet rain water , big hug happy new year
Happy new year to you too
😊
🐷❤🐗
Question !! I've never understood why everyone has to cover their IBC tanks. I hear it's to keep algae from growing...SO why aren't the. Made/sold. Colored plastic?
Hi Sandi, to answer your question, their original use is not to contain water, and generally it's easier to see the remaining contents if the container is opaque
Thanks Nick❤️
Hey Sarah !! What is in your rubber boots ?? Thick socks or do they pull over ypur socks and shoes? Seems like olden days they went over shoes.
Just socks in my boots😁
There are plenty of youtube videos on how to make clay.. I think you need to watch them..
Hint... The clay is suspended in the water..
We are not making clay , we are making cob with clay😁
Good luck, do the bluetti have an input for wind turbine
We haven't got one but I would make sure the specific wind turbine has the right voltage etc
To make it more eco-friendly I would use cloth bags to fill it with soil, maybe you can add also some weed seeds so that it will sprout.
We use what we have 😁and we definitely don't want seeds in the bag or they will grow through the cob and destroy the building but thanks for watching😁😁
Where's your Bluetti link?
Thank you Maria❤️ just added it 😁
How does that work with à half wild bore baby?
I dont understand your question
How ironic: you talking about your flu with a sky full of chemicals above you!! Sorry to hear you were not well. There are many protective solutions orgonite, shungite, copper wire on your land. For your body use C60 fullerines and roots brands products. Eat super clean too. Less carbs and glucose. More raw. Sending much strength to you from the high Andes.
With respect, this is balderdash and piffle
Let's hope the sky is full of chemicals. Otherwise, we'd all be dead😊.
