I remember this song. In 1994, the year this was a hit, I was botn into this world. I heard it since I can remember a few months before my 3rd birthday in 1997. I already was familiar with the struggle this encompasses. To grow and not lose momentum in sanity.
Then my parents rented this movie and watched it. I was terrified that they would take offense if I begged them to stay past my bedtime, because I also was just 11 and already knew I not only liked girls but seemed to have a passion for guys. I saw the scenes and heard what happened but I still have never watched this to this day. I am about to be 30 this August.
