My love and respect for him has gone through the roof and beyond during this interview.
I'm certain there were plenty of questions around this topic that came up with the hot ones writers and it goes to show the deep level of research they do that they didn't include any of those questions because they're so frequently asked. Not only do they research past, young life, and family; they also scour other interviews. Such an amazing show.

@Zatoichi444 Lying on the internet is easy. Not that it matters anyway. No one needs to know any celebrity personally, they're just strangers who make art to entertain our lives.
@Zatoichi444 i hope you realize parasocial relationships are not always full of love. obsessively hating a stranger is a dangerous game for you to play, my friend. no one said anything about being a wife, so I do see where your head is at. 🤨
I love the way Sean mirrors his guests. He’s so good at putting them at ease and making sure they never feel embarrassed. He’s a good dude. I appreciate you Sean! Thanks for being so sweet to our ray of sunshine!
It's funny how celebrities' families seem to convince them to do this show even more than their publicist. Another great interview, Sean never fails to come up with amazing questions.
Having been a massive Pedro Pascal fan for years, seeing him be at the top of his game right now at a career high point is just so satisfying. This man deserves the world!
I also find it beautiful it’s happening past his 20s and 30s. Just goes to show that you can really peak at any point in time with consistency but also genuine dedication. I also think peaking at a more seasoned age is better than peaking at a younger age since you know and understand yourself way more so there is no room for manipulation. It seems those who peak older have fun instead of constantly trying to Impress others.
I've never seen an actor that embodies the phrase 'he deserves the world' more. Truly just a gem of a person. Deserves all the good things that are happening to him with all these wonderful opportunities.
FINALLY! An interview with Pedro that isn't about internet memes... daddy status... or anything cringe. That was so great. Can't wait for people to actually start doing smart, intelligent interviews with him like this.
Probably one of the most "just having lunch with a best bud" interviews the show has produced. Pedro was so relaxed and really seemed to be enjoying himself. I love that Sean got a "how did you know about that?!" response to a question; that is always my favorite part of the interview.
Love how Sean and Nardwuar can get those genuine responses from outside of the box/incredibly niche questions. You can tell the interviewee really lights up when they get asked a question they haven’t heard over & over again when having to go on a press run.
I feel like I know who Pascal is as a human being after this chat over hot wings. So relaxed! So glad this FINALLY showed up in my algorithm today! I subscribed.
@Wendy Butler Sean is an excellent interviewer. If this was your first experience, you're in for a treat. Some interviews are considerably more explication laden on the guests ' part, but very few interviews are not entertaining. Idris Elba, Fluffy, Paul Rudd, Logic, Kid Cudi, Michael B Jordan, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Viola Davis, Cate Blanchett, Shaq, sooooo many more. ENJOY!!!!
@@colinbanning9416 people online are pigeonholing him into a "daddy" persona (mainly because he played a protective father figure on a TV show) and they think he's hot, that's it. I'm sure it makes him uncomfortable when a bunch of strangers just started calling him that over and over.
It's so nice Sean always asks respectful questions. He never stoops to being nosy or gossiping about celebs lives. By far my favourite interviewer and so happy this show has done so well.
He honestly has just the most sincere calm energy to him, you can tell he's just super grounded no matter how famous he's gotten, and there's a genuine love for the movie industry as well. Finally someone asking him proper questions about his very interesting career xo
everything about this interview is just, like, comfort food. in the purest form. the way pedro thanks sean so warmly as the credits roll, the way sean asks comfortably personal and thoughtful questions and doesn’t just go “so have you seen the thirst traps on tik tok”, and oh my good lord the fact that pedro didn’t even try to promote any of his work when sean rolled out the red carpet. ugh. i needed this today.
Honestly surprised, this is in my top 10 episodes (personal 10) he was way more endearing than i was aware & still down to earth after all the recent work hes been in. Very humble and made it threw like a champ hah Good sport.
I love how during his plug section, he just has fun. We all already know what’s going on. He’s in 2 of the biggest shows airing right now. Such a humble dude. Great ep.
I'm sure his publicist is behind the camera losing their freaking mind lol Let's face it, every booking is based on who's promoting their new work lol I haven't seen Mandalorian yet because I have no access to it. Look forward to when I do though! As for 'The Last of Us" I am enjoying that very much. Someone needed to replace an updated story of the end of the world. If all that was available was Dystopian/apocalyptic type stuff, I could watch a long time before getting bored with the genre. (No offense to Hot Ones of course)
Hearing the staff laugh behind the cameras whenever the guests do something unexpected or funny always makes me smile. Loved this interview, thanks FWF!
Pedro knows he's hot, knows he's loved, but he's not egotistical about it. He's unapologetically himself. He really is a great idol for anyone trying to get into professional acting. I love when people are popular for the right reasons. Thanks for making this interview happen!
My sister met Pedro Pascal twice because she worked the front desk in an apartment building he nearly moved into at the start of the pandemic. He was just as charming and genuine as he's appears in this interview. He even remembered remembered what they talked about the first time they met and followed up on them.
it’s so refreshing to see interviews like this that are genuinely asking about his life and career and stuff he’s interested in talking about. It’s a million times better than all of the “daddy” interview questions he’s been getting which has been getting so annoying. I loved this!! Pedro is so talented and funny and sweet. I’d love to see more interviews like this that are genuine, they are so fun to watch.
2.5 million in not even 12 hours, this man is really loved. ♡ I'm glad he gets a break from the mundane questions other people ask him in every interview.
I loved this whole video but something about that last portion where Pedro thanked him for the experience of being on his show, that soft voice in all its sincerity and the almost quiet giddiness of being "cool to the people he cares about the most" (his brother and two nephews being there) just really pulls at my heart strings. As someone who was traumatized by Oberyn's death, hearing how comfortable and calm Pedro was brought me great joy.
Same here! I had nightmares for weeks, probably because I liked his character so much and I was not expecting that gruesome death.
I had read the books and knew he was going to die, but Pedro had done such an amazing job making you like and root for the character that my brain just ignored what it knew, and I nearly threw up when he died. One of the most visceral reactions I've ever had to a piece of media. I knew it was going to happen and was still somehow blindsided by it.
