I think it's both. As a fellow Sean who always eats spicy stuff, experience and expectations can go a long way in how you react to spice.

Colin Farrell became the Saint of Toronto about 20 years ago when he was here for the Film Festival. He met a homeless guy, took him for a steak dinner then rented him an apartment, paying the rent for a year. Then, back for the festival a year later, he visited his new friend, found him working on his sobriety but still not employed and paid the rent for another yearI He never talks about this story but he kinda used in the series 'Sugar!' There is no finer human being among us.

I mentioned it in a comment above but I had the honor of being his Uber driver in Cincinnati once. And I don't use honor lightly. He was intensely concerned with our bad homeless problem and as far as he new I had no idea who he was because I didn't for a bit and then kept my cool when I realized it. I've actually spent a decent amount of time around famous people and in casual situations. Some very nice experiences too. (Can't tell the Bill Cosby one anymore) Collin is probably the least famous, famous person I've met and was hands down the coolest "dude" I have had in my car and his acting has nothing to do with it.
