The biggest game changer for me has been getting comfortable with talking to the camera like a friend. It helps that I have some close friends who watch my vlog so I’m excited to hear their reactions after they watch. I’m taking a few pages from your book and trying to incorporate more B-roll of myself to avoid the janky first person perspective all the time 😅

I only feel authentic when I am talking about my key area of expertise in a manner of 'helping', 'informing', etc.. but when I am just talking about me... full on awkwardness.. and in RL I have a good personality and my friends think I'm funny and interesting.. but why can't I just be me on camera? I think this is the BIGGEST thing for me. Feeling weird on camera. But I also can’t really do the exact content that I want to do. That requires traveling, more equipment and time. With ten dogs, it’s a tough one. But I do have a dream and I will get there. For now, I’ll try to do what I can with my I-phone 13 and a boring blog talk. 😅 We all start somewhere. 🤷♀️

I believe you have the most helpful, straightforward, and easy to understand info/advice/etc about becoming a creator.......i will likely be successful or more when I finally get over the hump and start doing....but life, economics, working too much for too little, etc. has got in the way.....I appreciate and value your motivation and example....every time I watch one of your videos, I learn something new.....and I'm a 4.0 GPA university graduate lol ;- 0......thank you Katie, your work is loved, beneficial, and helpful to many.....although you make a dollar or two, most deservedly, you also make an impact.....not even half the population can say that.....like the old joke,....there are 3 types of people......1, the people that make things happen...2. the people that watch things happen...and 3. the people that say, "what happened ?!".........

awesome video as always thanks Katie ❤ i just had a shooting two days ago where we filmed content outside and as people started to show up around the location i wanted to stop but pushed trough. My observation was they watched for 5s and afterwards mindes their own business - so all good😅

End of the vlog club! This was a great one and I can't wait to get my hands on the 360 Pro!
I started my channel three weeks ago (literally my third video goes live today) and I had to get it through my head to start while I'm learning. Right now its talking head only but usually petting the dog that keeps sitting beside me. I plan to add b-roll etc when I get better at editing.
And I am using my phone and the flo so the ad is funny.
Gosh, I love your videos! I'd been on the fence about getting the insta flow, but seeing you use the newest version sealed the deal for me! The only thing is, I have an iphone 11 and it doesn't look like it's compatible with the flow pro. But, I think I will still get the flow. Thanks!

I only discovered your channel recently and really enjoy your authenticity in teaching and showing how you vlog etc. I'm interested in either the insta360 flow pro or the new sony vlog camera ZV-E10 II ... what are your thoughts on each? I've been filming mostly on my phone in the past and it really takes up too much storage on the phone and I've also tried transfering to SD cards, but it's just a hassle.
