    You are a lifesaver. I’ve been looking for a video on air dry sauce because air dry clay is easier to use around/with my kids (if they wanna clay around). 😭💕

    I have been trying for months to figure out sauces! Thank you SO much! Stupid question, what type of "oil" did you use?

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  2 роки тому +1

    Your video is very interesting and helpful. Some parts are a little blurry though. What are the ingredients for the translucent deco sauce please? Thank you.

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  Місяць тому

      yeah it's not easy to record and monitor it at the same time. the ingredients are listed for each one but for the translucent one, the colorant is the key. i used soft pastels.

    May I ask what kind of oil you use? Is it like a baby oil? Thank you so much for the video. I want to make some drizzle for my decoden

    Awesome!! Tysm! I was just wondering 🤔 can we use this for toppings on polymer clay pieces? They won't peel or break off? 🥰 I will continue to read comments in case this has alrdy been asked as well! Wonderful tutorial!!!

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  2 роки тому +1

      As far as I know you could! However, to prevent it from peeling off, you have to apply a sealer/varnish over your finished pieces. I'm not familiar with compatible sealers for polymer clay though but but hopefully that helps haha

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  Рік тому +1

      i think the ones with cornstarch are more durable. i don't think there's any difference with white glue and clear glue

    Are the oil and vinegar for longevity of its liquid state?

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  2 роки тому

      not really. oil balances the stickiness of the glue while vinegar helps prevent molds

    Have you tried doing a pasta sauce?

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  5 місяців тому

      no, i haven't made mini pasta before. but if i'll be making one, i'll be doing the same thing i did in this video! maybe adjust the consistency a bit by adjusting the amount of cornstarch. note that it's going to shrink as it cures so the volume won't be the same after.

    Does the sauce stay puffy on donuts after it dries?

    • @zainclayarts

    Does the sauce on these donuts become moldy or crack after it dries?

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  2 роки тому +1

      vinegar should help prevent molds
      cracking depends on several factors like its consistency and the way it dries.
