i know the acrylic tubes holding the characters up in the epoxy was supposed to be invisible, but it honestly gives it more detail to me. looking at it i couldn’t help but see them as sort of like “mechanical umbilical cords” that are feeding the clones the nutrients they need to grow. not the desired effect, but i think it turned out to be the right one. i wonder what it would look like if there was a way to drill up through them and somehow dye them green or something along those lines.

I haven't actually seen some one do an asymmetrical item in an infinity mirror before. At first glance it looks like all the clones are in slightly different positions which makes it look some much more interesting!
As for the toads I was going to suggest having them, with a lead scientist Princess Peach, making Bowser in a lab as a kind of origin story. Who doesn't like a 'creation turned on its creator' story. But then I saw a comment about a Jurassic park yoshi diorama and I like that idea too... as long as Peach is still apart of it.

very cool, something to note is the "copies" will be alternating between normal and mirrored so it is best to try and use simetrical props that are hard to distinguish when they are mirrored. For luigi unfortunately it easy to tell due to his L on his hat.

What an amazing build! It never ceases to amaze. For the scientists, what about the Toads being researchers who do tests on the power ups scattered throughout the mushroom kingdom? Surely those 1-Up mushrooms had to be studied if they could clone the bros. Just an idea though!
