Hi!! There isn't an MLS in Italy like we have in the states. There are some aggregate sites, like Gate-away, where agents post their listings. Americans can purchase homes in Italy, so that won't be an issue. How long you'd like to stay varies based on your situation. If you aren't a citizen/dual citizen, you can get a long-term retirement visa with certain income requirements, or you can stay 90 out of 180 days. Hope this helps!! ✨
