this was dumb, also i didnt vlog the comp so no vid
to the people in comments who are saying i should’ve not posted it and get wr, the original scramble wasnt good at all and was impossible to get a sub 1 on 💀 so obviously they would question me.
AND ALSO adding additional moves to make it a 4 mover doesnt work, thats just intentionally making it longer, and doesnt change the fact that it’s a 3 mover, use your brain.

Normally cubers at this level(im one of them) practice this as a ritual, just in case things like this happen

That would be INSANE if that was a 4-move wr. At my last comp, i got the obligatory 0.21 0-move 3x3 world record.
I like the 2x2 simply because of that potential. Think about it though. 3 moves is wayyy luckier than 4 moves.
So she simply has to get LESS lucky lol.

I was at that comp and choked a podium cuz i got 5 and 4 for my last solves and choked on the 4 mover and got 1. Pretty sad cuz if tymon wasnt judging me for solve 1 i wouldve gotten like 2.6x and for solve 3 0.6x cuz lockups

How can it be an official scramble, but not an official solve just because you found a 3 move solution? Crazy
it was a misscramble, not an official scramble
i was given the proper scramble afterwards.
Someone messed up the official scramble. All 2x2 official WCA scrambles require a minimum of 4 moves for them to be legal scrambles. This had a solution less than that, therefore making either the scramble incorrect, or the scramble they got incorrect

As someone who has never touched a rubix cube in my life, I would probably be slower even just picking up and putting the cube back down.

I once got a 1-mover miss-scramble at a comp(2x2) and I did it just for fun and still somehow got 0.5 (+2) on an effing one mover

0.29 = 3 moves. Therefore you would use 0.38 secs to do 4 moves. Therefore WR on TPS.

You should have done the first to moves to solve it and then do a random turn but you turn it back again and do the last move because then it would be 5 moves

The U U' idea doesnt work unfortunately since the 4 move minimum applies to any solution, not just the one you used

No, it's not about the solve, it's a about the scramble. It must not be solvable in fewer than 4 moves. They are usually generated by software to guarantee that. It looks like it was misscrambled i.e. not the actual scramble the computer spit out.

I got a dupe once and didn't realize until like months after (I messed up on the dupe so I didn't realize and it didn't matter lol)
