What is grounding? This book describes grounding as incorporating a number of different aspects of flute playing; stance, breathing, embouchure cavity, finger position. These different aspects that when practiced together, allow the performer to grow in depth of sound and volume.
We all want a rich and resonant sound but often don’t know how to get it. Watch me as I demonstrate exercise from this book that will help you ground yourself and your sound for a foundation that will give you the sound you are looking for.

GREAT IDEAS. An old teacher said: "You should deliver a NOTE as a boxer delivers a PUNCH". A crude analogy yes, but he sorted my stance, breathing, & Concentration.
He was an old school tough guy & a great player.
We always remember teachers when we work out that they were right.
