  • I try to walk you through the initial stages of setting up your carb. Mine has just been rebuilt, and set to factory settings. I had already started to adjust the carb before I started the video, it makes a difference to do this. The final step is to do this in gear docked up securely, I will include a video of this when the time comes! Hope you enjoy my first how to video.

Does the engine need to be warm? Or can you adjust the idler screw anytime.

Is that adapter to screw into the intake directly, one from what came with the gauge? (I have the same gauge for this). This procedure is EXACTLY what I’ve been wanting to do to my TKS 3.0L, but I’m nervous I’ll bust the plug/bolt trying to undo it. I have not found another place to hook it up otherwise. 🇨🇦

It came as a kit from Amazon, the brass fitting was included. You're likely not going to break anything, brass seals very easy so you don't have to crank down on the fitting. Let me know how it goes

@@mattsfixall4552 I mean I’m afraid of busting the stock plug from the manifold itself trying to remove it. I do have the brass one too in the plastic case. 👍🏼

@@barrybebenek8691 you're more than likely to round it off than break it, I'm in Canada also by the way.

Sorry for the late reply, never got a notification. There is a threaded plug in your intake manifold, just unscrew it and screw in one of the adapters. Away you go!
