Rear stabilizer bar gonna reduce understeer and give more balanced feel.
Rear stabilizer from 450 ForTwo can be mounted with custom brackets or even full 450 rear subframe with dion tube can be used. They have same mounting points to chassis but parking cables are different. Custom parking cables seem to be needed
Very beautyful car
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
An easy and free mod is to disconnected power steering. Improves steering feel, reduces twitch, takes 5 minutes.
Agreed 👍
Some models are already without ps
@@SmartRacer my 2005 roadster (61hp) is without ps and it's amazing. Except you are parking xD then I miss the privilege of just turning the wheel in a standstill
I replaced the battery with an LFP one which weighs 2.6kg. The difference on handling could be felt a little
can you link me some aftermarket options for spoilers? i cant seem to find any :/ Thanks man! love your videos

Thank you for following
Hi, few weeks ago you posted some pictures of Smart Roadster with a manual gearbox. It is a lake that i am very interested in having more information on, the forfour gearbox directly couples in the roadster engine block?
I would appreciate if you could provide me with as much information as possible, thanks and best regards.
Done by Brabus, require programing of ECU as far as I know
I've heard of workshop who found some bolt-on manual gearbox from some Mitsubishi kei-car. Since ForFour have mitsubishi engine there are chance that bolt pattern can be same, but not sure about it. If it was that easy there definately would be conversion kits for sale and there are none of them.
I think the biggest problem can be in fitting clutch pedal because it would require to cut and weld frame to get rid of leg rest
I want to buy coilovers so bad :/
Nice video 👍 Q: was yours originally a Brabus ?
No, standard 80
@@SmartRacer excellent. Same as mine , I'm on my second one. Last the flat back. I prefer the coupe . Your helpful films are really good man . 👍
Hi can you tell me the model of your wheels please, thank you
Made by ATS in Germany, Michalak Design 17"
@@SmartRacer thanks
My question is can you improve the freaking shitbox transmission in them... Also spacers are not really a good thing for suspension on any car, you're better off getting different offset wheels with wider tires. Which are a pain to find.
Proper adjustment of clutch actuator, greasing as well. Running on 30mm spacers for 6 years now, no issues.
Lorinser wheels and Japan Racing is common choice for Roadster today
Nothing wrong with the transmission if clutch adjusted and calibrated correctly. Just don't use full auto mode, it's not great.
