I think that’s the problem now I know
I got back into playing rock band 4 a few weeks ago for the first time in probably a few years and just got my first perfect score on expert. Granted the song was “In the End” so it wasn’t anything particularly impressive, but I’m still proud of it.
I just slide my fingers across to reach the orange. I keep my index finger on the red most of the time and just slide over when I need to hit the green ones. I’ve noticed though that I sometimes do this for other stuff one I don’t even need to though. Like if I have to hit yellow and orange at once it feels super awkward doing it with my middle single so I slide by index finger over.
I haven't played guitar hero in almost 3 years and I used to be able to do through the fire and flames on expert. Now Slow Ride on medium is kinda challenging.

look, just play slow ride and surrender on expert from the start over and over again, worked for me.
