I’m skill level 898 on Rock Band 4. I’m pretty good, but could use improvements. I can’t move my fingers super fast and I end up moving my fingers randomly when playing fast solos hoping I can hit the notes
@bijumbasph6445 improving at guitar hero is not so different from improving at a real instrument. The key is to slow it down until you can play it perfectly, and then slowly work your way up to speed. You have to develop the muscle memory, and speed will come. So, take some section you flail around on to practice, slow it way down, and don't move up in speed until you can hit it 3 times in a row. Some people will even say to practice until you can hit it 10 times in a row. Then move up. If the section is just barely out of reach, you can probably work up to speed in a single session. If it's further out of reach, you may have to just put some time in regularly over the course of days or weeks. Again, as long as you keep building the muscle memory through practice, speed will come. I have been working on jordan solo b for about a week and i have moved up from 20% speed to 80% speed, and it feels awesome!
I've noticed that descending triplet patterns like fatalism are easier to hit if you spam ascending. I recently picked up ascending spamming and it's helped a lot lol. Alternating descending patterns are the death of me.
SunbroSolaireTV im in the same boat, sometimes the best method is to either slow the song down and master it until you get the speed, or if you want to just work on the patterns then just try the song all taps

i am utterly, and pathetically awful at this game. you could give me the easiest song, put it on 50%, and i will still get less than 50% of the notes if i am really trying hard.
nice video dude! I saw, that you got 99% on my last attack. I love to play that song, and kinda suits my skill level, except the tapping part, in solo a. I have no idea, what method to use there. can you help me with that, maybe in the next stream, or i dunno..
great video but i think its a little silly to tell people that they should only play other songs once theyre getting 6+ on across the guitar hero games. its not 2009 anymore other songs that arent on the guitar hero games can be great for learning how to play. not all of them are that hard, you can download easier and harder ones depending on your skill level. besides that would mean that someone like me whos getting between 3 and 5 stars on guitar hero songs, would be incredibly bored of those songs because theyre constantly playing only songs from the guitar hero setlists. theyre great setlists but variety is key in terms of not getting bored of something (the main reason i quit playing real guitar, stagnation). definitely dont mean to be critical in any way its just my two cents in terms of someone who is still getting better, your advice seems really useful to someone like me
I can’t download clone hero on my laptop due to issues with winrar and I don’t know what form of windows pc I have. Anyway, with guitar hero 3 for instance, I am good with hopo sections that are generally quite far apart (can beat my name is jonas 5 star no problem) however I am not good when it comes to shredding. Within strumming, I can’t hit every single note but I am not too bad at it. In terms of chord change that can be slightly difficult at times but mainly for shredding purposes.

bruh this man is literally rich, he has enough money for a 6 string bass
10 hours a week seems like a good pace that I think I can do 👍🏽
i literally cannot strum and then move my hand up to do two hand tapping on time. It's just not possible for me, but I'll have to practice.
