The part when she couldn't bear the emotional weight of singing and memories of her mom and broke down in the middle of the song was sad......but then everyone was there to keep the song going, her friends, the Choir group that looked after her, her childhood crush, even her musical rival and all the nameless billions on billions of people in the digital world....they all didn't want her to give up to save that kid and hus brother......thats freaking beautiful.
I sobbed😭😭in tears. This was so emotional😭😭and her friends were all there for her in the crowd. The memories with her mon and she broke down afterwards. Had me crying😭 😭. This was by far is the best tear jerker ever!!!!
The La la la part brings me to tears everytime I hear it. It’s so beautiful and Kylie’s voice just captures every element of Suzu. The first time I saw this scene I was legit bawling my eyes out. Such a beautiful movie.
I just watched this anime and it's so relatable to me except I lost my dad to brain cancer, my life hasn't been the same since I always feel like I lost myself but somehow singing has kept my dad alive in me everytime I sing it's for him 😭
I sort of know your pain dude my dad just recently got over pneumonia he was sick and I really hoped that it would not happen die or get worse but it got better.
I hadn't watched Belle. Actually, been wanting to since its release on 2021. Just that I didn't have time, and preoccupied with my commitments. Until one day, when my UA-cam made a random playlist as I was driving (it was about 2 weeks ago), and Belle's "A Million Miles Away" was on my car's mediaplayer. I instantly fell in love with the song (it was the Japanese version of it), and was moved to watch Belle, which was last night. I was waiting for this part of song in the movie. When it came, my tears rolled down my cheeks without me knowing. It's so beautiful. Beautifully written. Beautifully portrayed. Beautifully composed. It made me go back to when I first listened to Interstellar theme song, and was intrigued to watch it. It made me love music more. I don't know what I have found specifically. But what I know is, this song made me feel better of myself. Maybe, it somehow made me feel, belonging, I guess.
Suzu: light glimmers in a flower like jewels in a dream the sky breaths life love to everything. At times I’ve though I’m not enough the chains that tie my heart but there’s still a path that lies ahead for you and I. Memories fade away clouds of yesterday with no one to love is this life worth living. Come back to me and stay by my side I feel my heart shake come ease this ache I’m standing over here reaching for you a million miles away come back and stay now matter how far the memories may be when I close my eyes you’re all that I see come back to me a million miles away come back and stay.. young Suzu: don’t go mommy please! Suzu mom: I have to if I don’t go she’ll drown! (Suzu gasp) Suzu: la lalalaa…. La lalala lalalala lalalala lalala alla lalalala. People: lalalala lalalala lalalal (Suzu crying and singing) Ruka: Suzu! Peggie su: dont stop keep singing (Suzu singing) peggie su: yes belle! Keep singing! People: lalalala lalalala lalalala ( Suzu laughs happy and sings as belle) belle: sing let you heart soar! Sing forever! Sad and so happy! Feeling flow over! Now our world is full of all kinds of colors closing my eyes I still can see the stars shining in the sky! Sing their harmony! Flowers that blooming oh it’s beautiful! Sing! Sing! Sing! Sing this song I won’t stop now! Sing it through! I love you! The voice carries on!
I saw the movie with that song in Japanese, I didn't understand anything, but I was crying, and now with the song in English I understand the lyrics, and it's so sad and beautiful :(
I haven't watched the dub yet because I'm a kaho nakamura super fan, but the way kylie mcneill sings "sing their harmony" and "oh it's beautiful" is so so gorgeous and emotional, it instantly chokes me up just as much as the original
This makes me feel so sad because i lost two uncles and an aunt in my life and i miss them everyday as i didn't see them too often in my life, but i enjoyed the time i had with them. I first lost my uncle wayne then my auntie pam. They were married and i knew them my whole childhood. Then i lost my uncle les and he was such a good and kind man. I didn't see him as my uncle wayne and auntie pam as he lived with my aunt laurane on a dairy farm.
As a person who lost their mom I understood immediately. One of the reason this movie resonates with me so well. This the second thing that has made legit cry in my life even if I didn't cry at my mother's funeral. Does that make me a bad person?
Took my 12 7 and 2 yr old to see this in theatres when it first came out. The theatre was empty and I can not seem to understand why. And yes the wife and the 12 n 7 yr old did cry......I did not.............OK maybe I did.
Maybe its just me, but the Japanese put FAR more work into the vocals and audio... I just don't get how hard it is to emulate that with a proper professional crew.
I've only seen the english dub, but I did at least listen to this song in with the japanese. Each one was great, in their own right, and each person who voiced the titular character are different, in vocal range and the technical aspects so no matter what each version is going to be different. It's a matter of picking which one you like.
