@@kirbylover37 my grandmother can barely recognize her own daughter. She can and will spend all day in bed unless someone gets her up because she's forgotten what time it is. No clocks don't help, even if its light out she'll think it's either early AM or late PM and she should go to sleep. She's nearly died before because she didn't remember anything about her medication and condition and frequently insists she's in her 70s when she's reaching 90. Yeah. I fully believe that two adults with Alzheimers would overfeed their dog. For one I don't expect people with the disease to be able to work a telephone let alone have enough sense to work an app. If they themselves didn't have a caretaker then it was a disaster waiting to happen.
Payton Young thank goodness the dog did not believe in “healthy at any size” BS that feminists are pushing and read up on some researches on the harms of obesity instead.
@@kisong1960 what’s wrong with feminism? and also being “fat” can be genetic and some ppl gain weight and it doesn’t affect them because it just happens..
xav. True, though there is a line between a bigger body figure and unhealthy obesity. For example, someone with a broader build and more muscle mass can still be healthy, you don’t need to be a skinny beach body girl to be considered a healthy weight. Genetic body size is natural. Key word: natural. When people start putting on weight because they don’t eat healthily enough or don’t exercise enough is when it starts getting dangerous. It can lead to diabetes and make people more prone to illnesses like cancer. They just have an unhealthy and unnatural amount of weight. There was a swimmer at my old school who had a larger body type, but she was one of the best swimmers, constantly making the nationals. She had a healthy body, though it was larger. She was an idol to many other swimmers in the school, including me. Anyone can be healthy with their natural body size or shape, though people are starting to get misled and promote obesity as “body confidence”, though they’re slacking off and not taking care of themselves properly. Feminists are right in thinking that having a positive self image is important, though when it starts shrouding people from the truth that their bodies are deteriorating is when it gets dangerous. Like how at the beginning, Obie is incredibly obese, but at the end, he still has a bigger figure, but he is healthier. I hope this clears things up. I’m not trying to attack or make fun of anyone with a bigger body figure, I’m just trying to explain how people can be healthy with a bigger figure and how people can be unhealthy. Everyone is beautiful, but not everyone is healthy, is basically what I’m trying to say. You don’t need to be a pro athlete to be healthy, they’re just incredibly fit. You just need to make sure that you’re not putting on too much necessary weight and keeping active. You can have sweets and treats, but that shouldn’t be the base of your diet, and should be balanced with a healthy diet and exercise. And even a small walk a day can help start good habits. We all have the potential, as shown in this video.
@@TailcoatGames The reason I was saying that is, I knew a family that did pretty much the same thing with their pet dog. They just kept giving it the wrong food and too much. When the dog passed away due to obesity, they went out and bought another dog and did exactly the same thing. Fortunately, someone reported them to the RSPCA and the dog was taken away and another family took on the responsibility and did very much the same as in the video. The dog is still alive and doing very well at about a quarter of the weight it used to be. The end of the story is, they were not allowed to own another pet. Incidentally, I use 2 accounts with you-tube, Willo's and Dave Clarke, so that is why you see different icons in my posts.
Tailcoat Games The way I look at it, it’s either the person’s right to own pets or the pet’s life. Which one is more valuable? Should be an easy question.

@@ilovegothwomen8602 Comedy is comedy if you find it offensive or not.
@@bool8705 I don't really think it's comedy. Kinda just lightly abusing your dog.
"Sees thumbnail" there's something odd about that seal
😂😂😂😂😂
Of course it's a rare Land seal, they prefer land over sea
I hope you get 69 likes one day😂
looool
You really caught me off guard with this comment and it deserves way more likes!
😂😂😂
I wanna lose the same amount lmao this is motivating
Cani Cowley yeah same X3
are you overweight? if your weight affects your health then try to lose some ! but if not then there’s no problem :)
@@areyoukirringmeirriyaa Not necessarily true. Most cases of obesity don't show health problems immediately but manifest over time
karthik rox obesity causes disease, it’s not a correlation it’s direct causation
You’re not fat don’t think that 😀😁
What a beautiful story. And what a wonderful, dedicated woman to help the sweet little dog.
The cruelty of the dog’s owner is the same as torturing it. Either way, they’ll think it’s cute.
@Brainjock yikes
@Itz XxMercuryXx Set two alarms a day. Don't feed unless the alarm goes off
@@kirbylover37 They would probably forget they set the alarm and set two more.
@@tyrantbill4447 On the same app? For the same time?
Teacher: who is your biggest inspiration
Me: its complicated
Fat cute doggo
*_This dog is an inspiration to all..._*
Hehe not my dog! She is still a fat ads after 2 years XD at least she isn't super skinny as when we found her
_I wish I could gain this amount of determination in reaching my goals... Maybe I can even now._
Johan the GOAT
This dog is more impressive then a lot of humans lol.
Payton Young thank goodness the dog did not believe in “healthy at any size” BS that feminists are pushing and read up on some researches on the harms of obesity instead.
If only human beings could inspired others like this they make even animals make a name for them self
yeah she said he's now 12.. amazing..older dog and hes still in shape. while a lot of people just give excuses to not lose weight
My lazy ass was reluctant to go to the gym but after i watched this i swear I’m hitting the gym tomorrow morning
Lixi i righti
Did you do it yet?
Friendly reminder :)
bullshot you wont if you wanted to you would get up now and go
That’s after breakfast, of course.
The previous owners should never be allowed to own pets ever again.
Willo's Men's Shed don’t say that
Tailcoat Games no I think willo is right
@@TailcoatGames The reason I was saying that is, I knew a family that did pretty much the same thing with their pet dog.
That’s the first owner
Tailcoat Games The way I look at it, it’s either the person’s right to own pets or the pet’s life. Which one is more valuable? Should be an easy question.
I love his will. Thank you for saving the little buddy. Remember, people over feeding is not love. it's irresponsible
Thank you for reaching out and getting help that took courage.
Really appreciate the effort you put in to getting the little fellow

Obie is such a precious dog, it's amazing what was accomplished, the person who rescued him is awesome, kuddos to you. WOW!!!! This is a joy. I'm so happy to see him independent and he look absolutely happy, the worried look he use to have on his face is gone.
Wow!! Im so happy for Obie. Glad that he can live his normal life again. He does deserve it! ❤️
He seems so much happier after he lost all of the weight
The fact that he ever weighed more than 50 pounds is crazy
And for a dachshund im surprised he didn't break his back or something, especially being 12!
Yeah. Dogs should be Fed about 2 or 3 times a day
Or some treats is fine
@@haide6969 we feed our dogs twice a day and give them a small treat in the morning
