great helmets, they fit nice, breathe good even on long hill rides, the lower rear was a big selling point for me, had a big crash on a downhill trail in my blue one 8 months back and saved my head from serious injury, replaced it with a black one and still loving the Montaro's, looking at a Desciple or a Fox proframe just for a bit more protection on the downhill runs, i'll keep the montaro for the flatter longer trails though, would highly recommend one to anyone wanting a good helmet
It looks like you wear the helmet with loose straps. Is it correct? Ive bought this helm and I dont know how tight I should setup the straps. Is it okay, if the helmet move back some cm, if I push it with my hand to the front area?
Nice man, I have crashed using the same helmet on my first mtn bike ride lol and the helmet works well but since they came out with the Switchblade I actually replaced it with that and it's a great 2 in 1 helmet since I only have 1helmet. lol great videos by the way, really enjoyed riding with your spouse it's just fun. Hey Calvin I would say that the helmet is pretty neutral in how it fits. I have a pretty weird shaped head and when I ratchet the helmet down it does not squeeze me on one particular point, instead it applies pressure on the whole head equally. Best fitting helmet I've ever tried. Hopefully that helps, thanks for watching.
Nice review bro! What do You think in terms of sizing? I don't have a chance to try it somewhere and want order it online. My melon is 57 cm, BUT... i try Giro XAR and medium is pushing my temples hard, so i can't wear it (at least, now is my son happy because he wear it).Is this helmet true to size, or is on a small side like XAR ? What's your opinion about ? Anyway, thanks for answer and keep doin' a great videos.
Hey Goran thanks for the kind words. The helmet def fits true to it's size. I have a 59cm head size and I wear a large. It still has room to adjust a bit tighter and and I can make it larger. Thanks for watching.
If the MIPS is still intact, it didn't do its job. It's supposed tear loose and move with your head, independent of the helmet. If it cut you, your head moved and the MIPS didn't.

I snug the straps down when I ride, with a about a finger space between the strap and my chin.

The 2017 is has the multi-color bottom. It's such a good helmet they sold out of the main colors pretty quickly.

tman55575 a huge head! I think it’s 60-61cm in circumference. The size large fits perfectly.

Comfort of this helmet is really great. I got the light blue one. Sunvisor works great, it is pricy, but i only have 1 head.
