Based on the classic WWF Hasbro wrestling figures from the 90s, Mattel has been hitting it out of the ballpark with their WWE Retro figures. We now finally have a wrestling ring to add to the collection and complete the experience, and folks, it's just as good as the original and then some! I got it for 20 bucks off Amazon when it came out last year or so. Love it. I have the original Hasbro WWF ring too.
You can but a standard Mattel ring and push the ring posts in deeper and make them scale down to retros and Hasbros

You want them to come out with a cage, that would be nice. But I'm thinking it would be nice if they made a Referee. Also they should make some managers like Bobby heenan & miss Elizabeth. How about some divas. Come on Mattel pick it up! Lots more to make. Redo Kane & undertaker they are to short in comparison to other figures & give undertaker a removable hat. All entrance gear should be removable.
I feel these rings will eventually be worth lots of money down the road since Mattel doesn't plan on making any more. So whats out there now is all there is going to be. (Thats what I heard). So I bought 3 to keep in box brand new just to have. Ever since the retro line began the original Hasbros IN BOX/ ON CARD have sky rocketed in price.
Yep, yep. Also, the Retro figures themselves will all be worth big bucks in a few years. Probably worth more and more every year. Some already are. And a lot of them are very difficult to find or just flat out expensive. Not to mention that most are extremely hard to find in stores, aside from series 3 and series 7.
I'm getting the ring and some of the figures for christmas and im soo excited! I'm looking for a Bret Hart original hasbro figure. I found one that is is pretty good shape. It's $40 dollars and I dont know if its a good deal or not.
I buy it in a flea market in Chile for $3 dollars... In this country this figures are very cheap cause the collectors are practically nule
Depends if it's open or not and which Bret Hart figure it is. There are a few from Hasbro including the mail away. Any of them sealed in original package are anywhere from $200-$500. The mail away still in the original plastic is well over $500 now.
Open/loose figures is a different story. As far as I know the only ones loose worth a good amount are the 1-2-3 Kid and the Undertaker Red Card. And of course the Kamala with the moon belly.
Bret Hart loose thats not a mail away figure is right around $25-$50. So, 40 sounds right.
By the way, what did you end up getting for retro figures for xmas?

Do they no longer sell these at Walmart I'm in Arkansas and the last series we got was 7
Most stores dont carry these anymore. You'll have to get it online from Amazon or ringside Collectibles.
@@NerdNewsToday I see I never brought mine from Walmart I always got lots of eBay but since everybody over charges for one on eBay I figured I'll pay ten for 1 at Walmart thanks
