Great job. Thank you for using colors other than blond. Us dark hair girls like tone and dimension too ! As a cos student, all things color really challenge me. I so appreciate seeing how other hair professionals demonstrate different techniques and color in their designs.
I have a lot to say! Okay 1. Your hair is gorgeous!!!! 2. I love that u did the bottom side of the hair too. 3. I also love that u don't fold the foils. I feel like that cannot be good for the hair which is already in such a compromised state cuz of the bleach. 4. The only thing that's concerning to me is that there was too much bleach on the gloves which can transfer and cause splotching but i guess the bleach wasn't as strong in this case. Finally 5., i wish i could see the money piece being done. Maybe in another vid!
I watch all of your videos and you inspired me every single time I look at your video you motivate me each time and taught me a lot of stuff that I have not been taught in the school I must say you have a natural talent and a natural way of teaching and explaining to us I really and truly do appreciate what you are doing for us as hair stylists not everything we will learn in school so I really and truly do appreciate your videos thank you for every video you are putting out there thanks for your knowledge thank you very very much you make me become a better hair stylist I must say
Love all your videos. I am a hairstylist returning back from the barber 💈 world. It’s been difficult getting back into color but I’m determined to get better at it 💖
You should try the shwartzkopft blondme clay lightener for the balayage. Use 40 volume in open air with that as it is basically like 20 volume in foil. I still use the original blondme for balayage too tho just mix it a bit thicker
I love watching your hair coloring videos! I recently graduated cosmetology school and I’m still not confident in balayage. I do use the framer painter brush and I don’t like how it applies on the hair, idk if it’s just me being heavy handed but maybe I’ll give the brush that you’re using in this video a try!
Love your videos. I have been wanting to have a balayage look, afraid because my hair is dry and frizzy. What do you recommend? Are you here in Htown to make an appointment to get my hair done?
Hi girl, I have dark brown hair (a little bit darker than the mannequin) I would love to get your hair color! Is there a way I could highlight my hair like yours at home?
Toner question: did you use the matrix and 10vol all over and then ANOTHER toner overlayed on top of that? Or did you just pour some SEQ into the bowl of Matrix? It was a little unclear to me.
Hi, New subscriber 🙋🏽♀️ I am currently in cosmetology school and I’ve been looking up so many ppls videos and your videos are the first videos that have helped so much. Do you mind making a video describing toning? As far as breaking down the numbers/ letters meaning. I know the numbers are for the level of hair etc. I’m understanding the color wheel it’s just the numbers and stuff that get a tad bit confusing. Thank you 😊❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is great video. Can you tell me can you do balayage on color treated hair ? Dark brown. My hair is similar to the mannequin hair. Just with bleach worried it wont lift correctly and be too orange. I dont mind brassy or caramel if toning will just neutralize it some. What do you think ?
Please show us one with how you do yours. I feel like that caramel on the mannequin was not contrast enough. Couldnt really see it. Maybe more. I loved application tho.
The one question I just don’t seem to understand about balayage is that when you’re working from the bottom of the hair to the top, by the time you get to the top of the head, isn’t the bleach sitting on the bottom half for soooo long? How do you avoid the bottom from getting brittle while you work your way to the top?
I think that’s intended because the heat from your scalp causes the bleach to lighten faster, I guess that’s why it’s recommended to start from the bottom cause it balances out maybe. Also, it looks better than having lighter hair from top to bottom imo.
Hi! You said 1:1 ratio but the directions recommend a 1:1.5 .... did you do 1:1 for a reason? Curious cuz I’m going to use this exact Schwzkopf Blonde bleach kit and was curious why you did it and if I need to! :)
Take this clip to your trusted professional hair stylist. Tell her this is your inspiration . It may look different on you for many factors . But the stylist will let you know in the consultation!
Me too ahahahahahaa Last time I went and asked that It came out different shade ahahahahahaha that I changed it after a month to dark chestnut to get rid of it 😄😆😂😂😂 I search for a better hairdresser But it's rare to find in greece ahahahahahahah 😂😂😂
If I got a ash blonde balayage . How long do I have to wait to get this color instead ? Also with a carmal balayage do u need to apply purple shampoo or is that used specifically when adding blond to ur hair ??
hola ashley, your hair looks so beautiful may i ask you what you got done and color please. i have a hair appointment this saturday kinda nervous. gracias :)
@@ashleyalopez can I just ask what was the painting or highlighting technique called in your own hair in this video? I love the way it looks but never know what to call it or ask for?
Gen Melendez thank you so much and yes I actually did lighten my hair! and actually it’s a caramel / gold color I used 😃 camera and pictures always looks different! Lol
Hola me encantan tus videos, no se si hablas español jeje y si lo hablas podrías hacer un video explicando en este idioma tengo algunas dudas. Muchas gracias 😊
Weaving helps give the hair more movement and dimension, it’s just preference some people like seeing the contrasting colors of light and dark, just back combing will be less dimension and you will most likely look like you have a line of demarcation
@@lilyr.8096 hi, thanks so much for the reply but I am not a hairstyle and don't quite understand what some of the words you said meant, do you mind explaining?

Angela Hagood I am a blonde and I couldn’t,t agree moreI I as a blonde need dimension as well. No helmet head!

Me too!
Are you located in Las Vegas?
I think everyone is confused about the toner did you use 6wn first rinse then use chili after? Or did you mix the chili in with 6 wn?

I agree ?? The painter brush is a bit much, and maybe it is heavy handed-ness but grief I feel you girl!
What colors do you have on your hair?! It’s gorgeous😍
I loved it. Love to know all colors and volumes. Thanks ❤
If you weren’t using foils would the sections bleed into each other where they touch? I don’t want to buy foils but I’m worried about spotting
How would you explain your hair color and highlights you have on your hair?? I want my hair like yours

If it gets to the desired level before making it to the front you can rinse it off
OMG, I wanted to put this question to some of the pro girls 😄
This is what I’ve been looking for! Perfect colour!
That blend is so gorgeous 😍😍😍

Love your hair it looks bomb and your work very nice...
you probably won't see this but how long did you leave the color on her hair before rinsing?
If shades eq wasn't added, would the color still look similar to the final reveal?
What color is your hair? Which brand? Thanks
I just found your channel and joined cosmetology school and your channel is helping sm thank youuuuu!!!!! 😭😭😭

Your hair is beautiful! Can I send you a pic so you can give me ideas of what color would look best on me?
can we add bleach in the hair colour if we have dark tone hair
The sections that you leave in between are they about half or an inch wide?
If I wanted something like this, would I go for a partial or full balayage?
Yes I need to know too!
Thank you for video! What curler wand did you use here?:)
Did u add olaplex into your mixture of bleach and developer?
Can we get a tutorial on your hair color?? Please❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Are you in LA? Do you work at a salon I need this color!
But all these videos only show the bleaching. When and how did you put on the caramel tone?
hello how long do you pause the bleach please? great job!!
i've a doubt! should i do it with the middle parting or the parting i usually wear? or it doesnt really matter? thank you!
the parting you usually wear!
Beautiful color. I thought shades eq is used with processing solution?
Tracey Metz thank you! And yes that’s what I used
@@ashleyalopez thank you for sharing. Appreciate it the color wheel, explanation. Love shades eq. Can you explain the background color?

I love your videos! I have learned soo much. Thank you!
Would diagonal sections work with this technique?
How can i ask for this at a salon??
Hey Ashley where do you buy the mannequins? Im in cosmetology school and would like to practice outside :) thank you !! I love your videos 💕
I love it so much!! Pls come to Germany 😂
You have great hair, what products do you use.
how light did you get her hair before you toned it?
I hope I learn how to do this on my own hair
What was the tone used? Can you send all the products needed ?
Did you lighten your hair after the pretty reddish/brown you had in other videos? Because I have questions! How did you get such pretty ash lights?!
Gen Melendez thank you so much and yes I actually did lighten my hair! and actually it’s a caramel / gold color I used 😃 camera and pictures always looks different! Lol
Ashley A Garcia Oh yes I went back and totally see it now. I always worry mine is going to be brassy if I try to go lighter but yours is perfect! ❤️
Beautiful tutorial!! Can you do a tutorial on your hair color.?.
Your hair tho sissss 😍😍😍😍😍
And how would you touch up this after a while?
So beauty!! 💕, Can yiu tell me the name's song? Please :)

Hi what’s the formula for the toner? Ratio?
Which is your haircolor
Can you tell me what’s her base colour ?
What level did you lifted the hair 6 or 7 ?
How long did you leave it for?
do you have to weave or can you also just backcomb every section?
