people need to wake up, domestic abuse drags out for years and in most cases is a lot worse than what’s been shown here, I totally disagree with anybody that says this story line should be stopped. How are we supposed to recognise signs of domestic abuse if nobody will even talk about it ??? This needs to be addressed not swept under the carpet!!!

It’s not just entertainment it’s a message to people who are actually in this situation, and what are you actually talking about?? “People know when their being abused” that’s absolute nonsense people can’t tell whether it’s care or control their getting it’s not just black and white like your putting it
I think it’s a good thing that this storyline has been carried on for so long. It’s easy to fall into the thought pattern of why doesn’t she just leave. It takes a while for a predator to manipulate their victim and I think it’s a great way of showing how a manipulator works and also gives an insight into how the abused individual is broken down until they feel they can’t leave. Yeah, it’s frustrating to have it all dragged out so slowly, but I think that adds to the realism of their situation and really gives the writers time to show exactly every single detail of how the abuse develops and the impact it can have.

If ur lucky enough to of never been through this it's not easy, it's mental torture, bein screamed at all the time, they lie make u doubt urself into madness, this is grooming from the start if ur getting bored by watching it, imagine if u had to live it 24/7 even when ur out the house, they they start ringing u just to row and scream at u, then when u want to leave they start threatening to smash ur windows, people are gonna come for u, its terrifying to be in this situation, imagine if u had a friend goin through this and they never told u, its embarrassing and degrading, its happened to alot of people behind closed doors, this could happen to u, ur sister a friend a daughter anyone it's grooming from the start, if they were like that on day one we would all say see ya, but it's not it's takes min 6-12 months for them to show who they really are x
