    I made this today with graham cracker crust. It came out very nicely with that lovely shine. Great recipe!

    ...this cake is amazing... finally a chocolate cake easy to make - quick - and far more delicious than any of the cakes I bought recently... This is a recipe for an afternoon of decadence, enjoyment and the sharing of happy deliciousness - without much time to invest in preparation... definitely a recipe to keep! Thank you so much for the wonderful video.

    Thomas pls do a video on the difference between couverture choc and regular baking chocolate. What it’s best used for and how to tell which chocolate to use for baking or making candies. Thanks , looking forward to it. #kitchenconundrums

      @@katenpp Thanks. Odd though that the video says to use a pre baked crust but the recipe says refrigerate for 30 mins. I don't understand why they can't marry up the two presentations!

      @@lesleyburgess6964 You refrigerate the crust so it sets, then bake it, and there you have your pre baked crust ;) Says so in the recipe hehe

    In the linked recipe, the cookie crumb crust calls for 2 cups crumbs and only 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Can that possibly be correct? Every other crumb crust recipe I've looked at calls for a minimum of 4 tablespoons butter. Can anyone offer this non-cook some advice?

    I tried this today and everyone just loved it. Bt I had to bake it for abt 40-45 mins. At 20 mins it was all liquid.

    You guys need better lighting for your primary shots with Thomas. Noticed on many videos that front wash is totally weak compared to the light coming in from behind and to the left of TJ.

    Maybe I'm just a weakling, but I can never chop chocolate without working up a sweat, not to mention having it fly everywhere. I just blitz it in a blender lol.

    For me a hard part of making a tart is removing the whole tart from the pan bottom prior to slicing. I wish he had shown how. Sometimes during blind baking sticky spots develop. And, it's not good to cut slices directly the way the lovely Thomas did, it will eventually ruin your tart pan.

      Rizki Permatasari always use room temperature in baking as it will combine better. Egg also should be at room temp.

    Nope i tried it ... didn't like it at all .. the cream diluted the chocolate flavour for sure ...@ 20 mns it was jst liquid...it took me abt 40 mns to get the right consistency ... and for those in India best way to imagine this dish is .. chocolate china grass (dessert) in a pie .. ☹

      Probably easily can! A lot of dark chocolates are already vegan even if they're not branded/marketed as that. Any vegan cream, and maybe for the egg something that would also set, maybe a ground chia or flax 'egg'? It would definitely interfere with the flavor but that's the closest thing to it
